I really appreciate that and I'm glad you've enjoyed them. I will most likely keep my titan multi grip bar, because I can flip it and do a board press style bench. But it's really annoying how close it comes to the j cup
To reply at your question. They use a 48mm tube on specialty bars because if you use a 50mm tube the thickness of the paint would make the diameter of the finished product too big and the plates wouldn’t fit. If you want a true 50mm sleeve you have to machine the tube at 49.5 mm before paint but the process makes the bar more expensive
I modified a pair of collars I never used to work with this bar. I moved a retaining pin over about a quarter inch to make it clamp tighter. Good bar, I really like it.
The bar looks perfect for everything even with the accessories.Have you tried any of the specialty items on this bar like bench blocks or fat grips yet that bar looks bad ass you never see anyone using bands and chains using a neutral grip that would be a whole new stimulus on the tricep using that bar!
Good review. Just a question regarding using arch nemesis with shoulder presses or reverse curls, have you tried this bar with those two movements, yet?
I've tried shoulder presses and it worked great. I haven't done reverse curls yet, but I definitely think it would be much more comfortable doing them with this than a barbell.
Thanks for the comment! I honestly don't think so. I really do enjoy having these angled grip options. However, If you are restricted on space (because you still have the sleeves on this bar to account for) I would highly highly recommend the everyday essential lat pull down attachments
Can’t wait to get mine ordered from Amazon and I think they lost it was suppose to be 2 days and now it’s been 5😡I only ordered on Amazon because last time I ordered from BoS it was lost and took two months to get my rack! Looks like I meant to struggle in order to build my gym
Definitely this one considering its less risk when the players would be racking the bar. We currently have elite fts safety squat bars, power systems multi grip bar, kabuki duffalo bars, trap bars, Eleiko bars, and ivanko power bars.
@@CJMcFarland Thanks for the input. Haven’t looked at the Power Systems bars, but that’s good info. Have you seen the Kabuki Cadillac bar in college/pro facilities or is it usually sprinted/Elite FTS?
As weight rooms get renovated and/or new strength coaches get hired I'm starting to see more and more Cadillac and transformer bars in college weight rooms. The university of Miami just got a sick custom rolling storage rack with like 12 Cadillac bars on one side and 12 transformer bars in the other. It's sick!!
