I just received the Onnit sandbag. Put 40lbs in it and gonna start with that. Do you plan on doing more videos on sandbags? Would love to see more exercises. Chose it over slam balls since you can load it or unload it.
Very happy you got these so fast! Bells of Steel is a great company. I have these for when I progress higher with your slamball program, they are very durable. I use rubber pellets that I get from Home Depot or Lowes for weight. Slamball program is my favorite (also have C&P and Swing) becasue it is helping me regain a solid core and foundation. Great content as always. Let me know if you were serious about Camp Wildman, lots of places for machetes, spears, being loud and massive pits for steaks and veges.
Love the sandbag ground-to-shoulder workout. Messed up setting timer the other day and almost killed myself using a new weight. Too many reps at too fast of a rate, haha.
Lov bells of steel i have thier 50lb 250lb 300lbs sandbag also have Cerberus sandbags 125lbs 150lbs 175lbs 225lbs . Id say the quality of bells bags are equal to Cerberus bags
Hi Mark. I wanted to get a HydroCore but the shipping is a little too expensive (I'm from Chile), so i was thinking that i could replace it with a bulgarian bag or, on the other hand, buy a sandbag and focus on the "farm boy strength". What do you think? Thanks a lot for yor videos.
You can do a lot of Hydro core stuff with a bulgarian bag. The difference is how the load moves (water vs sand), the handles (you can probably easily fix this), and the loadability (again, can be addressed). I made a bulgarian bag several years ago using a truck inner tube, sand, heavy duty zip ties and some tape. You should also get a sandbag but the workouts are different. There has been a bunch of knock off style Hydrocore stuff coming out recently that might be more accessible. I would hate to suggest going that route but if it gives you access for an affordable cost then you should try it.
@@cucciafr68 you can rinse it…I didn’t. The gravel doesn’t break down and pulverize like sand does. The sand becomes fine powder over time and leaks out of the bag fabric. The rubber mulch is a little lighter per volume so takes up some of the space so you can vary the proportions to get to the weight and volume you want.
Isn’t 200 lbs a lot for greasing the groove ? Cleaning a sandbag seems like one of the last things I’d wanna do if I wasn’t warmed up. So many muscles/ so much of the body involved I’d pull something
