I'm a former dancer and people have no idea how hard it is to do what this beautiful dancer is doing. And makes it look effortless! It is a fantastic performance. The first step of those deep sway hip movements I've never seen before and they were exquisite. Nataly Hay gave a diverse and energetic performance. There are so many years of training it takes to achieve this level. And the stamina! Those steps are so tiring and energy expending. Beautiful performance.
That's awesome!! You are some woman. I agree that it has to take athleticism and poise to a maximum. It has to. I think these women are incredibly talented.
Delighted to see a comment by another female who, like myself, does not feel threatened and unable to compliment a woman when she sees that she is beautiful and talented. It takes a lot of generosity of heart for people of the same sex to praise each other, instead of making comparisons and being envious.
Aye, from another former performer... this lady is exquisite, has worked and practiced endless hours to achieve her level. I also like the modern touches that were not taught in the type of dance I learned, many years ago. I would like to have seen her do some floor work or back bends, but maybe next time! 👏👏👏

I love that Ethan and Mark tried it and hope to see them try other dances.

Instead, many of them come up with "structured arguments" to prove it's a high value art. Just don't want arts to go down and kids absorbing this as an art. This dance has value on stage only if it's the highest quality, or ppl r haveing fun, ...ALL dance like this and better in for ex. Egipt. looked up the whole blog ...it's obvious, Jazzy's, actually kind comment, was misused to make those stupid and unkind towards the society points also KIND. Outstanding, love the chorography! The Art of Belly Dancing is one of best expressions of dance, and fun along with the hard work it takes! I taught this art for many years in Canada and California! Now retired I have an appreciation for Nataly Hays talent! BRAVO!
I can't really see what was so "insane" about this... I've seen a lot of belly dancers in my life and she didn't really do anything new or particularly amazing. She's not bad, not at all, she's great, but the title suggests she would do something, well, insane x'D
Her hips aren't "dead" she is probably not using them as much in her dancing style. Maybe that is what you are more used to anyways.. More hip action. She's got the skills though.. They are there!

No--man's desire and admiration is not "the highest compliment to women." This young woman is very talented and beautiful. She will be equally talented and beautiful when she is 65--and few men will desire her then. The highest compliment to a woman is one which will last from girlhood to old age--she was a strong, brave girl/woman who lived and spoke her truth with dignity and clarity and left the world a better place than she found it in whatever way best suited her gifts. Youth, beauty and men's desire and admiration are fleeting. True beauty and value are not.

She reminds of how Shakira Belly Dances! Hips that move hypnotically, beautiful hand and arm movements, and of course that gorgeous hair! A beautiful woman, that is inlove with being a Woman! Awesome dance!
She's amazing!!!! Women were made to move are bodies like this. It takes lots of patience and a lot of hard work to do this. I loved every minute of her.
No, it's because that's not even considered good, someone of her moves were not even dancing, looked awkward and even ugly. And as far as beauty goes, well, that's definitely on the be eye of the beholder. There was an American belly dancer here where I live a few years ago, now she was the best belly dancer I have ever seen and very beautiful.
Do you have to be an artist to like art? NO. Do you have to be an athlete to know sports? NO. Then why does someone have to know how to belly dance and then post a video to be aproved by you just to know that her moves are shit? I'll wait for an answer.

What I love about watching belly dancing like this is that a heterosexual woman like me can enjoy the sight of a beautiful woman with a proper womanly body moving gracefully to music in such an exquisite way - and actually be able to say so. Without being treated as weird, or a closet perv. Women should be able to compliment other women, especially when they are as talented, elegant and such a joy to behold as this. And we should be allowed to see that beauty for a woman does not have to mean being a stick thin fashion model. Women do not need to live in a world where they are told what to look like, and where they are raised to criticize, and to expect criticism, should their looks fall short. Thanks for reminding me what a proper, sexy, womanly woman looks - and moves -like. Gorgeous.

She does seem really technically insecure when she goes from modeling to dancing. The lower body movements in bellydance are fairly easy. Maybe she should take another class?
I am Arab.. she has the techniques but she's not good in moving between them.. dancing is not only about techniques, you should dance from your heart and understand the music

For those of you who criticize her technique, looks and movements... I wonder how enjoyable it would be to watch YOU all giving a command performance showing us the right way. It's not an easy form of dance to master. One has to learn to isolate parts of the body and make it look effortless which she does beautifully. I think you're just jealous. I'd pay to see her and I'm female.

My husband and I many years ago were in Fort Lauderdale Florida. There was a restaurant across from the beach. A young woman came out with low slung jeans and a scarf with coins wrapped around her waist. She makes this woman look like an amateur. The crowd was mesmerized by her belly dancing. She was so fast she was a blur.
Paul Homsy I have no idea, but the crowd could not take their eyes off of her. For some reason I felt she was of gypsy blood. She was not Egyptian but more European.
Misleading title, she was posing not dancing.. and she is not insane, there are other dancers 10 times better than her, just check. P.S. It was supposed to be belly dancing not hip dancing, she barely had any movement in her belly..

I dont know may some of the arm and hand gestures could had been left out of the dance but for the most part I thought it was a very beautiful dance. But then again im no Belly dancer and I dont know what goes into it so may be it goes with the dance. But I enjoyed watching it!

@@maryanamoshi7962 I beg to differ.... (It's Hossam Ramsey on darabuka for goodness sake! ) Sure there was medium slow, but plenty fast too. (Dynamics) . Maha is correct. Too many times she just "posed" on the downbeat, and held for an entire measure. (I used to drum for a Turkish/ Egyptian dance instructor, & her troupe.) Sorry, this dancer has skill... but kinda "phoned in" this one.
There was a Got talent contest in our school, And i was thinking to do belly dance and copied this, when i performed it at school i won! Thx to this girl! :)
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else wants to learn about how to belly dance videos try Letza Fast Dance Lessons(Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my m8 got amazing success with it.
Wish i'd live in a palace with gold, turkish food, arabian food, indian food, sexy belly dancers and a hookah to smoke everyday with differend flavours. That would be the dream...

I know from nothing about it, but she may not be such a beginner. I agree; she is very pretty, she moves very well, is a captivating performer and shows either a solid background in dance or a hell of a lot of natural ability. Heck, she may be more experienced than she lets on - that is; experienced enough to know that less is more, which is one reason why you can't take your eyes off her, the minx!

I said she's very graceful and I'm sure by her sensual movements and control that she's absolutely a trained dancer and in most likely contemporary art of dance, ballet, jazz, maybe ballroom..?? I'm not putting the lovely lady who looked gorgeously on stage down!! My point is I'm well aquainted with and trained in the art of traditional Arabian Seduction Trance Dance "belly dancing"..in this particular style of dancing**less is NOT more by way of moving your hips, belly rolls (seductive yet doesn't mean you must show a lot of skin)..using every muscle in your body to roll belly while the rest of body is still or moving in another way. Never showing on your face at any time anything other than a confident, flirtatious smile even though it's not only the Oldest Dance but the hardest! I gave her props by saying she's a natural..with practice I truly believe she'll be magical!! :-) PEACE
That's what she looks like, to me - someone who has just learned enough to be sent out to dance and still has a long way to go before she'll be a great belly dancer. For a beginner, she does very well, I think, though.

Too bad you put such cheesy music to this clip. If you'd used the actual music the movements would have been properly synced and much more impressive. I'm a former Miss America of Belly Dance (1993) and this could have been a stunning performance, but is very disappointing and doesn't show her true talent.
Beautiful girl, great use of her arms the entire time. Her hips weren't the most agressive I've seen but she's a fabulous technical dancer all the moves were very clean.
