The bad part is I don’t think the dude who got killed was soft he probably just didn’t wanna kill his boy. But when u hesitate in the streets it’s game over
Buddy drawled, didn’t use it and took his hand off the gun. Unfortunate situation because I agree dude wasn’t soft just wasn’t ready to use it. That petty argument could have been solved with a fist fight or even more shxt talking before the guns got pulled.
I'll just say I don't think he was soft the way his homie put it. He was just dumb. He may have been softer than his homie, because friendship didn't stop him from going against the rules about pulling🤧
Its a classic for sure but i think it could of still been better like dmx and nas character should of had some scene against method & rico it just seem rush a lil
This shows truth. No matter how long you have known someone, you don't know them. Not everyone that get money with you is a fan of yours. That hidden hate will surface during any argument. Any moment arise to take you out, it will be done.
This Is just ego selfishness and dishonorable behavior la and wiz kid grew up together something so petty as argument of past event shouldn't break that especially if one froze up made a mistake that could've possibly cost life regardless if one felt humiliated in front of a person they look up too overall it's poor leadership guidance and teaching from a so called og like buns he should bestow wisdom composure and intelligence to his soldiers not hot headed egotistic ignorance tommy is not boss material nor capo he's simply one man gang of sorts a rebel
@@iamking_nell yea but dude who got killed was instigated by Tommy to pull out his tool. “I know you not gonna let him talk to you like that man what’s goin on
I think it got a little too artsy and goofy with the grandouis shit. Like the femme fatale killing Ox or keisha killing Method. Or Gummo or big head rico . I think the actual street story elements were more realistic for the era i grew up then any of the other "gangster" films like BoyzntheHood or Menace2society. Just regular conversations like nas at the barber or Tommy and nas when he's paranoid.. It seems so realistic
Funny thing is this was based on a true story. Them niggas was really living that life fr. They wasn't acting. They even said X didn't even read the scripts, he just went in & did what he did. He was just being himself the whole time some people don't know
dem OG niggaz ALWAYS tryin to start some shit within tha click..then when shit gets deep there like "i told you".....dont let others lead you to destruction...bestfriends killin each other over some drunk shit...shit aint just a movie..shit happens all the time.take a second to think...
Buns is a true homie... they asked his alias and he said Sincere... thate way if the detectives know of Sin theylk think Buns and Sin are the same person... thats loyalty... its tite if your fortunate enough to have a homie look after you like that
5280z007 I don't know if you're being funny or you're being Sincere? It does make some sense but thats a helluva a way to get a fall potna. Im not a street nigga so I wouldn't know. But if my homie got popped, the last thing I want him to do is mention my alias.
I just noticed this today after seeing it so many times. And idk wtf brandon is talking about, he watches too many films. He wasn't mentioning nas to police. The police asked tommy his alias and he said one of his alias is sincere. Police are already looking for sincere(nas). But since tommy claimed the alias, they think they already have him in custody and thus won't be looking for the actual sincere/nas
It's like if the cops ask you about a past murder and you name a person whos already dead as the murderer. Normally naming the murderer is snitching, but if he's dead it don't matter so you're actually helping someone get off by blaming it on someone who can't be locked up. With police thinking they got sincere in custody, they're not gonna actively search for the name sincere anymore
Anybody else notice dude in the corner at 1:35 just eating his meal comfortably? This is after both dudes pulled out guns, and everybody else either ran or ducked down.
lol DMX eyes always scared me in that blue jail cell scene, and in the nightclub scene or somewhere where it was just black lights and his eyes were glowing
@nyblusaiyan He didnt insigate nothing.. He just kept it 100 at first.. he told them to chill out when he got serious, but no real man begs another to stop! he said what he said and left it alone bro..learn the game
Back then rappers in hood films were badass. I can't imagine these trash mumble and women dressed rappers pulling off roles like dmx and nas in hood films these days. Just can't imagine.
