Police Chief Michael Trevis will be retiring after 50 years in law enforcement and 16 years of service at El Camino College.
Throughout his career, Trevis has worked for several city police departments, including the city of Huntington Park and Maywood. He has also worked for school districts in addition to El Camino, including Los Angeles Unified School District and Pasadena School District.
Trevis, loved by several members of the campus community, has left a lasting mark on the campus as he makes his departure this semester.
"I'm going to miss him," Kerri Webb, director of public information and government relations at El Camino, said.
