Jon Hohensee not as arrogant as you seem to be. Just because someone knows their job and is getting to the point where they’ve gone as far as they can in an industry, doesn’t make them arrogant. If she was a man and acted exactly the same, you wouldn’t call her arrogant. As a matter of fact, that’s exactly how Kevin acted. He was a know it all that wouldn’t allow anyone to question him. I have just binge watched all 6 episodes of this show and am enjoying season 7. Kate is just everything. She is amazing and smart and the passive aggressive master. Love captain lee too. Great show.

I love Bravo shows!! I have all my family and friends addicted as well!! I can’t be friends with people that don’t watch!! I made my husband watch an episode of Below Deck with me last season. He has binge watched every show on Bravo since then!! Bravo has the best “reality” tv!!! I am a sever at a couple high end restaurants and rich people have the most ridiculous requests!!

Its so funny I got my husband to watch Below Deck with me. We both were hooked immediately. We thought we were watching season 1 turns out it was season 3 or 4. Yep I guess we were so busy with our own jobs...or... just living under a rock. I love the show but admit I do critique the crews actions and the charter guests actions.
I wish you had discussed the filming process. What's the time frame? Edited onboard or how is footage uploaded? How many film crew, where do they sleep and eat? Why don't they show the captain's quarters, more of the engine room, and who is the chief engineer?
I think they just film while on board, and do the editing later, once the season is over. Also, they usually introduce the chief engineer and the first mate in the first episode of the new season, but we don't usually see them unless there's a problem on board.
You can probably Google it. Just yesterday I googled the hiring process because someone said they don't hire black people. And he said there's only 0.02% of black people in the yachting business
@@lisamelroy2855 Right. The engineer and rest of the crew aren't really included in the on-screen cast. I think it's at least partially because their jobs are more technical (and therefore not as interesting for this kind of show), often involve them being down in the bowels of the ship a lot, and they really need to be focusing on their job and cannot be engaging in the kind of antics that make for good tv, like the upper deck crews often do. This show is about drama and sex, not the technicalities and minutiae of how the ship functions.
As far as being safe that's Captain Lee's number one rule keep the guest safe! I don't know why some people on here are saying Kate has lip fillers I don't think her top lip would be that then and you're making fun of somebody because of how they look. How would y'all light somebody to make fun of the way you look but I guess you're all perfect who are criticizing her.
Yes the majority of people who watch it love the show. And as for catching up the day there's a new episode they show past episodes leading up to it sometimes two or three years or more back.it has the advantage of new crew members and returning crew members plus you will not believe the people who rent The yacht LOL. Yes they get a base salary and paid very well. Most of the time it's tax-free because the boats are flagged out of the u.s.. Kate's salary in her position is probably in the neighborhood of$80,000 a year. The tips are all cash after that
I just basically said the same thing above, she was a major distraction and not in a good way to the interview, even the host shot her a few looks like WTF.
@@christinaacosta6594 I actually enjoyed hearing her laugh; it added to the interview for me. I imagine she is there to sort of 'boost' the feeling that the guest is being funny. Many radio/tv shows have these sorts of sidekicks who's job is to do just that....laugh at everyone's jokes and comments.
The boys and not men on that show are definitely not mature enough to have a beer let alone a night of heavy mind bending booze. Why the Bosom was not fires on the spot is below anything civilized. Working on a yatch is really hard work. They may get paid good money but sometimes they're working from 6am to 2 am. Even if they get $1800 for the 2 days, it's not enough. I imagine that you can get burned out real quick.

After seeing the December 10th episode, I no longer care much for Kate. She basically said that she can make the entire crew wait while she gets ready because she's of a higher rank. What an ego on her!

Kate needs to stop with the injections in her lips or around her mouth. It effects her speech. If you watch the first episodes her speech was normal. Fame doesn't mean you have to start messing with your face!
Agree 100%. There is a 'red carpet' interview with her at Bravocon (on You Tube) right now that's shot from sort of a side view and her lips look so abnormal and fixed in place. Think super duck lips. She used to be so lovely. I hope she stops with all the plastic surgery and enhancements before it's too late.

There were either interviews with producers from Bravo or right on the Bravo site but it said that the charter was 1/2 price from what it would normally cost, and not b/c it's 3 days instead of 7, but b/c "it's a give & take, they get to be filmed and they get a good deal on a luxury vacation" - or something like that - it's paraphrased. I think there was a price of $50-75K or something like that, but who knows how accurate it is, it was only online (posted/served) for over 2 years
Ya, we'll only charge u 1/2 . However u must sign a waiver allowing Bravo to make u and yours look like fools. Yes u will be allowed to drink as much as you'd like and act as foolish as you r physically able. The crew members will bad mouth u before during and after your voyage. Bravo airs a great deal of garbage.

Why does Kate get to talk about people like this? It is just wrong. I used to have a job that involved sports professionals, and had to sign a non-disclosure cause. When Captain Lee says something on camera about PAYING guests --it would get him fired anywhere else.

Shes my fav reality star, I was just a little shocked by this. She reminds me of Bethany Frankel of the NYC only Kate of the Sea. Lol
@@sharonstevek.6797 I feel like she's lost some weight since the show started, as well. I liked her better with a little more weight; this can make an already thin person look older in the face since it removes the collagen that helps to plump out the wrinkles and sunken in areas.

@Andrew yes she's only had that one female relationship. She said she was surprised as anyone else and never expected it but they grew closer and then one day Kate kissed row and that was it.
