Below Wrath is a PMV youtube series that is made for an audience over 13+! If you are sensitive or underage, it is recommended to click away. Below Wrath progresses in detail further and further overtime, which means more trigger warnings will appear!
EPISODE DESCRIPTION -
A war rages among the flat Herd Fields territory, A war between the Quartz pride (Lions) and the Blood Seekers (Hyenas). Hasira is prideful and hopeful that the Blood Seekers will win this battle but things take a turn as the battle is paused, too many soldiers are injured and flee the battlegrounds, leaving the Quartz pride with its fallen members. Jeraha, the King of the Quartz Pride insists that their fallen lion/lioness should be honored for fighting in this terrible war.
Time flashes forward and a young prince has wandered far out beyond the Quartz Pride borders. He accidentally catches a young hyena cub, coincidently, she is the daughter of a leader as well. These two get along fast and become friends.
We get a glimpse of the leader of the Blood Seekers, a large female hyena who goes by Hasira demands from a poor spy hyena who works in the Quartz Pride Borders by trying to catch as much information from the territory as much as they can.
A little later, our young prince returns to his home, and wants to ask questions he's never asked before from his Uncle, King Jeraha.

I noticed you have the hyenas call themselves a pack. But in reality they are referred as a clan. Even in the Lion King especially the Lion guard. They’re also not related to dogs. Oddly enough, I don’t know where evolution went through? They are related to again. There is proof of that especially if you look up hyenas catnip. Still I can’t wait for more episodes

@@monkeycat48I don’t think she plans on making more, the very last time I checked it seemed like the creator lost motivation (on top of the health issues). I think they also said they’d perhaps make comics instead but that dosent seem likely either I think it’s dead in the water unfortunately.

Maybe I can suggest a comic! It’s called I Hope So. There’s some dubs on RU-vid and the rest is on WEBTOON. I’ve seen it described as a ‘Better My Pride.’ I haven’t finished it yet but I’ve really enjoyed it so far.

(⚠️ ANIMATION TIPS AHEAD ⚠️) This may come off a bit rude, but you are TOTALLY overusing tweening! I understand animation takes long, but the over use of spinning is a bit too crazy. Here’s some things that can improve the animation while keeping it easy: - You should have characters stand still! The stillness is what gives scenes a calm mood! For scenes like talking or for scenery shots, it makes the character seem CALM! (Also is easier to animate since it’s not moving, but maybe trees shaking and birds in the back could keep it more alive) - When a character is running, you can use the tween tool. BUT you should also use the slide tool to make it more motioned! Spinning is for joints moving, but you would try sliding limbs down when characters run on foot-to-ground contact. - Try animating lipsync! It doesn’t have to be moving a lot either! For example, anime usually uses three poses of the mouth: opened, grin, and closed. This simplifies the movement while still looking vibrant! These are just simple tips of improving the animation, it is ABSOLUTELY YOUR CHOICE if you don’t want to use them! It’s A OKAY! 👍 Lastly, I did enjoy watching this! I love the story, the characters and their designs, and the tone. I just like helping fellow animators out a bit. BYE!! 💚💚💚

this is just rude lol I understand that it’s not what you meant, but I stand by what I mean; don’t give ‘tips’ or constructive criticism’ when you weren’t asked to give any or they didn’t say it was ok. It will come off as rude no matter what imo. but I get you were only trying to help, so please ask beforehand. to me it only does more harm than help. so many artists do the same thing, I hope you do not comment this on every video you see like it?? 😅 /lh

Just saw this in my recommendations, I have to say I'm very impressed by how smoothly everything turned out! The ending music really brought out that feeling that this series is gonna be an amazing one! I can't wait to see more episodes when they come out! Congrats on an amazing first episode! The dialogue-less historical battle really added to the weight of the rest of the episode and the children’s interactions. The pmv style is gorgeous! I was so surprised and happy to see this out! I’d been following a while but had no clue it’d be so soon.

it was a blast being young chaya in this!! all the other vas did AMAZING!! they were all so emotional and expressive, and the episode itself is SO AMAZING AND SCENIC!! I’m so happy i could be apart of this and i’m super excited to be apart of more episodes!

The art is nice and clean, and the story seems like it could be cute and interesting, but I would just like to advise some voice direction. The voice acting can be very quiet, they whisper and mumble like they're trying to not wake anybody up. It's harder to get emotions into the voice when straining to be quiet / not confident enough to speak clearly. I hope the voice actors can find a good room to record in and really go all out! =) It would be easier to find the hyena leader menacing if she actually had some growl in her voice. It takes the immersion out, because it feels unnatural, even if the dialogue is fine.

I like that hyenas are not shown as just evil and ugly ones. The hyenas here are cute and show that they are also good, although not all of them are. I'm glad that the hyena hierarchy that exists in real life is shown. The series is off to an interesting start, so I'll be watching what happens next. ps. This series has no intent in being racist. What the character meant was that the names were difficult for her to pronounce, not trying to make some sort of mockery. Sorry if this came off as something else to you

@honeyveinss if so, I do apologize for putting the one word "weird" on the script, and it's totally on me, I do not want problems and am still learning about this culture, I am not trying to fully implement it into the story even though these are african animals with swahili names, it's a fictional story too, and using translated meanings to define these characters pasts, personality's, etc. Again, I apologize

@@SilentOwl0 hey yes great to hear but I hope you wont just translate and go for the names and actually do research if those are actual correct nouns and meanings 👍 I hope you actually understand that even just using their language that is not your own is a big enough responsibility to take care of and therefore „just“ one word in wrong usage like now, from a creator of non African roots or knowledge can come off as indeed pretty *weird*. Eventho its only a fictional story it is still a very real and to be respected language. Not to mention the already careless use of the Swahili or in general African languages in the lion king fandom alone. But yea take care and have fun on your series

I just found this and I'm already invested! I find that the PMV format you chose really gives us a chance to appreciate all the beautiful little details you put into each frame, and it also sets the pace quite nicely for the storyline. I can't help but admire your style all throughout, with how expressive and intriguing you make each character to be! It really comes through the eyes especially - I love it. Overall we got some really interesting conflict set up already, and I'm quite excited to see where this goes. Happy to be following! ^^

Animatics have No color in them let alone clean lines- Animatics are supposed to have arrows pointing at where the characters going,etc A lot of artists are using Animatics wrong but it is up to them on what they want to do though with "animatics" and PMV is referring to Picture Music Video which doesn't mean anything to Animation or tweening people in this generation are using a lot of words wrong

This is really cute but the audio quality makes it hard to watch 😭 i hate using subtitles just to understand what is going on.. could be because all the voice acting is from (what sounds like) the exact same person

love to see a lion series that has a hyena MC, that goes beyond them just being the enemies! Also the addition of wild dogs is another surprise but a welcome one. It seems both of the parents are caring of their kids, even if the Hyenas seem to be going in more rough from the start. The friendship between the lion and hyena cub seem wholesome for now as well. Seems this may start as more a conflict of circumstance and historic hate instead of personal anger or hate, which is hella interesting

This is gorgeous but i feel like the 'hyena' designs look more like jackals than hyenas, their muzzles are too long/too wolfish and their ears too pointed and long imo, i didn't assume them to be hyenas at first glance, but this is a great series concept and i hope it continues, best of luck.

i hope this two cubs will not die in the future😰 The whole plot will fall apart😭 and in this way 14:11 hyenas not so strong with physics for to break a nose, i hope you understand this mistake(or Hasira super duper mega strong?👽) And also it magical and cool!
