I can't get the same result than you when I put "brim size" to 10 & "part anchor" to 0, it doesn't work at all... I really need to put anchors like you did, so do you know how to fix it, if it's still possible to do it with Kiri Moto... ?
I have a Sainsmart Infi-20 and there is a profile for it in Kiri:Moto. I’ve watched this video and did what was suggested to print multiple parts but the printer still stops after 1 part. Any suggestions? Loop and range don’t seem to work….
@@christiancarlson5431 that only works if the firmware has support for it. it sounds like the stock Sainsmart firmware does not. You would have to get a working build config for Marlin for that printer, merge in the M808 branch, and rebuild it. that's not a small feat. perhaps you could bribe a Marlin maintainer to do it for you
Obviously infill serves as support, but also it strengthens parts to withstand weight and makes them tougher... does belt printing change infill considerations for strength? Could we forgo most infill and just increase wall thickness for example?
given the unique aspects of angled printing, you can often get away with less to no infill and use shells/perimeters instead. but strength still often requires the use of infill. it really depends on the geometry of the object. large enclosed volumes are more likely to require it for strength, if not support.
