it’s very true what charlie hunnam says about uber drivers or drivers who drop off groceries, and deliver food. they barely make ends meet & compete for pickups. i know a couple friends who do it out of necessity and it’s so sad how they struggle. it’s good to hear mr. hunnam touch on the reality of it, especially the difficulty of it living in california & esp during covid times. thank you very much for this interview! very insightful.

They both come from poor backgrounds being poor in America is very different than growing up poor in England just because our social system is quite different and in our country the power of acquisition is much greater than in England as well as are the social scale. Ben has been rich and famous much longer than Charley Ben is from the city of Boston Massachusetts while Hunnam is from a rural area New Castle upon Tyne in northern England

@@nanlars2323 Actually, I did a rabbit hole research of Affleck and concluded that he comes from an elite WASP family. His mother might have been a school teacher, and his father might have once been homeless due to alcoholism, but the extended family were rich. The most direct evidence would be a podcast he did for Hollywood Reporter in January 2021 when he was campaigning his 2020 film The Way Back for awards. He talked of his father and said him definitely wasn't a gold digger, which implied that his mother's family had money. And we all know his mother graduated from Harvard (Radcliffe College) in the early 1960s. You need money and family connection to get into Harvard in those days, unlike nowadays where you might get into it by pure merit. I then found out that his grandmother on his mother's side once did an extensive oral interview for MoMA and in it she talked quite a bit about her own family. That's where I made the connection. She also married a Shaw (one of Boston's Brahmin families) in her second marriage. Affleck deliberately obscured this aspect of his background because I suspect that it would tarnish his public persona post Good Will Hunting narrative.

I've been trying to answer your question about work and I can't do it because you guys have got you flabbergasted me with your your whole personalities is so amazing. I knew you were an amazing person, but I didn't realize I only seen the acting part and didn't really think it was my business for other but I have I have to stop now because I've made it I've wrote a you know a 10 chapter novel trying to explain me so that I could let you know not listen I am people are crazy. I think that we would just not have a connection. I'm not saying that that's not what I'm saying I'm saying, I just think that we could sit down and have the one of the greatest conversations and you know I wasn't making a story up. You know how there's people that my mom is I should say that Storyteller more than Walt Disney and he can hear somebody talk and I can see the difference of something that you know, made better or stretched out like a fishtail fishing story and my stories I know I'll repeat them, but you know what they're not. They are the same story not word for word, but you know that I'm not confused I'm not lost and and I love when you're talking you're so real and that I only know a couple people in my life that are like that and they're my all-time favourites I would die for them and I love them and we don't know we see each other but we always in contact sometimes it's a couple years ago sometimes it's only quite year but every moment it's like we hadn't lost a moment and I'm telling you right now you would feel I talk a lot, but I can listen but I am so relaxed and awesomeand I think that it would be the enjoyable time and I'm not saying it for

$500 a week living in LA? Not realistic unless you've got some roommates or something. It's honestly weird to watch wealthy people talk about the income those who are close to poverty are making. Not in a bad way - it's just bizarre. I'd like to think if I met someone who works in film I'd have something to talk to them about. But maybe the disconnect would be too much. I have no idea what I'd say to someone like Ben Affleck if I ever ran into him in a social setting. But no worries there - classism (and fame) is real. Me & Ben probably don't run in similar social circles lol. Maybe I'll serve him his coffee someday tho!

I am British, I was confused about Charlies accent, I was like that sounds funny, then I looked up where he is from, He is a Geordie (Newcastle). He either has a variant of the Geordie accent that I have never heard, or he is trying to his hide Geordie accent.

he doesn't try to to hide it. keep in mind he had a role on a show for 8 years as an American and recides in the states since the early 2000s, so naturally his accent has gone through itlol. I read somewhere that he had to dialect trainer for an English role because he couldn't do the English accent anymore
