@odblog Mhnnnn we're just gonna agree to disagree here mate :)) You can't call him a bad actor He's not bad and that's a fact. He may not be "wow" good but he is just above average! He's got his own characteristics which you yourself may not like just like many other poeple. He might just gonna surprise us. I don't think that he would have accepted the role if he wouldn't have a good idea for his Batman He'll do fine. Perhaps not as good as Christian Bale but Affleck got the chin, so that's a bonus for us Batman fans. And no wonder he "hates" the fans :)) the fans without even seeing him in costume already attacked him with curses all over the internet. I say give him a chance and after it if he messes it up you can go with most of the people and be on the side "Told you so"

Razvan Suiogan If most people say its a bad overrated actor and you disagree, its more likely you dont know what a good actor is, and im guessing you are very young and naive and consider justin bieber also a talented artist, even though most people dont even talk about his talent but discuss about if he is even an artist, same case with Affleck, overrated good looking actor, completely the opposite of dicaprio or Brad Pit, good looking underrated actors.

Tommy Wiseau. And you're going to judge a man for making 3 movies that were a flop? He has more movies where he played well. In the role of Daredevil he wasn't bad! It was the directions that weren't good! And is true, I would have prefered someone else in the role. But I am not mad I mean I am still curious to see what he's gonna do with this role.

Remember when Keaton was casted as Batman. People went fucking crazy and Keaton did a phenomenal job. When Heath Ledger was casted as Joker. People were very skeptical and we all know how that turned out. The best portrayal of Joker in recent years since Nicholson. Give Ben Affleck a chance. He's a good actor and director and he has the potential of being the best live action Batman.

I actually enjoyed daredevil.. But it was never Afflecks fault. It was the script that had problems. But despite its problems I enjoyed it. It had an awesome sound track and awesome visuals. I found it rather entertaining

No matter how odd Jared Leto looks as The Joker, I think he'll still deliver a great performance. As for Ben Affleck, I'm already sold on him ever since I saw Argo. Screw the haters, Ben Affleck and Jared Leto will be great. Remember when everyone thought Michael Keaton would make a terrible Batman; or when we thought Heath Ledger would be an awful Joker? UNHAPPY GILMORE Matter of fact I do. Although I will always be unsatisfied Scott Adkins never got the chance (and he would be probably the best on screen Batman), I think Affleck can be a great Batman. We will have to see, but for all I know now, he can be great, or even more than great.

UNHAPPY GILMORE Search "Undisputed Yuri Boyka" on RU-vid. You will see what I'm talking about. And if you don't agree with the looks in the movie, it's just for the role, he actually looks very similar to Ben Affleck, especially from the nose down. The Russian accent is also fake, he's British (and can make an American accent). Tell me this is not how Batman moves in the cartoons and especially the "Arkham" games. So, this is why I will never get over how they had him and just didn't cast him. But still, I have faith Ben will deliver.

Ben Affleck is a multiple Oscar winning actor, director, and producer... He's been in some amazing movies and has had some awesome performances (especially recently). +Marco Cazares Virtually every Batman actor has had fanbased backlash when they were cast. I can't say i remember any backlash about Bale, though. But no one had high hopes in Batman Begins back then. I think it has to do with fact that Batman is "perfect", if you get my point. He's got both a legacy from a fine family, that's as close to royalty as it gets and at the same time he is a selfmade man, having spent years training and mastering skills in virtually all fields of physical combat, mental and physical endurance and more or less every field in science.

For years I've tried to write a poem and have heard Mr. Affleck speak of values and children that express what I try to say in this my poem. That's not myself in the glass that I see, just an image from my past by the time it reaches me. Its in the eyes a child where my true worth is seen. When the reflection of my morals are seen in what they believe.

Ben Affleck is 6'3 and from his Pic as Batman looks HUGE. He's taller than Cavil which is crazy to think about considering Cavil is a specimen. You know who complained when Ledger (I was like you mean the gay cowboy???) was cast as Joker? Me. you know who looked really stupid after watching TDK? Me and millions of other stupid, raging fanboys.

Look at the positive side. 1. He has the face for it. 2. After Ben Aflek ruins the fanchise, it will be several years before they reboot it. I know you liked the last few Batmen, but do you really want a new one every two years? Forever? How many good ones do you think they have in them before it becomes like one of those yearly shitty videogames, like CoD or sport games?

Jorge Pineda He will actually. There was a private screening at WB for BatmanvSuperman and Ben Afllek was given a standing ovation. They were so impress they gave him a 10 year contract. Also they loved it so much they want to make a trilogy just like the nolan one.

Well , if anyone saw the trailer 2 of Batman vs Superman .. Ben Affleck looks like best ever Bruce Wayne than any other actor ever has. Most realistic Bruce Wayne ive seen.But we have to wait till the movie gets released to see if he is the best Batman.

The Batman vs Superman film far exceeded my expectations. It was definitely a well written, and dark themed film. Ben plays a bitter and dark version of Batman that if unique to not only the film, but Ben as Bruce. I enjoyed his portrayal and look forward to the other films.

whitedevil2 You are aware Daredevil was nearly a decade ago, right? His acting ability has drastically changed in that time. Again, look at Argo and the Town, and you'll see what I mean. Oh and NO actor has been batman has had a bad movie prior to their batman performances, not one?... Really? Ever heard of Gung Ho? A film Michael Keaton was in, just look at all of the actors who have played Batman and for certain I bet you they have one 'bad' movie prior to their portrayal of Batman. This same negative response to the casting choice was present during the time that it was revealed that Keaton was playing Batman. It'll pass and you'll like Bat-flleck. Trust me :)

MattyFizzle04 . MOS didn't suck it's just that people expected it to be a happy, joyful and cheesy like RD's original superman movie. THAT tone will not work straight away. The entire movie revolved around the Kal-el side of Superman rather than the Clark Kent side. Also he's discovered his parents are not his biological ones but instead his biological parents are from a distant planet that was destroyed. Not only that his clark kent character is always being alienated as an outcast by society too. Yeah, he's totally going to be cracking jokes all the time! Right? Also Batman WILL NEVER peak. There are so many villains in his rogues gallery and there are countless A grade story lines to inspire from, same for Superman. Hopefully MOS2: Batman vs Superman will focus more on Supes character rather than Batman though. Fingers crossed! :)

Ben did good as daredevil, but the writers screwed it up. They're making batman less grimy like Christopher Nolan, but more like batman Arkham trilogy.

I think Affleck is a great choice for Batman, and he will knock it out of the park in his role. The one thing that pisses me off to the point where I want to murder somebody is Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. That is actually a comical choice, if I would have heard that they cast him from a friend or somebody not official, I would have laughed, HARD, because its almost like WB misheard people saying that they want HEISENBERG (as in Walter White, as in Bryan Cranston) and said "really they want Eisenberg? ok then give 'em what they want, get him on the phone". I am not happy with the choice whatsoever, and there is a chance that he will do well, but god damn is that hard to imagine.

***** yeah :) and i think ppl judge waaay to hard and way too soon. lets remember that there are numerous things we, as audience, dont know yet. for example: auditions. the cast may (most likely) have been great in the audition process. so the actors are doing their job great accordingly to what the director wants. so if the movie, or some parts like the charcters, dont come off great, its most likely not the actors fault. and yet they are the ones that get the blame. its sad. its aspects like that ppl dont think off when they judge so freakin hard and it pisses me off

They should have afflek's batman as him speaking to himself and planning out his tactics like how he does in the arkham series, and have some sort of "detective mode" in his cowl and have him recreating crime scenes and using more of his detective skills
