I'll be honest, when I saw The Tonight Show live recently, Fallon's pretty good live, he just gets filtered out by the NBC corporate machine during the broadcast segments. He came up to all of us and lef us ask him tons of questions and he seemed like a really nice genuine guy in-person, as much as people like to shit on him, he's not the lifeless hack people paint him as IMO.

He was so lively, upbeat, good chemistry with Conan and they make a good duo
I feel like Jimmy has been traumatized by what NBC did to Conan, so he kind of had to play it safe. He had to be the most generic talk show host ever. Don't try to think outside the box, lest you end up like Conan. Such a shame, Jimmy was a genuinely funny guy. He couldn't try to be like Conan even though he obviously adored Conan. He had to be like Leno, because NBC favored people like Leno.

I don’t really get that. He does a lot of cool stuff and is really good at a lot of it. It’s like you guys are just making stuff up and acting like there’s some issue that isn’t really apparent.

He's a pretty funny guy, lol I actually like him as a comedian but he's not made for the business of talk show. He doesn't have what's necessary for this type of job. That's all.
