You are an expert horseman. I have lived my whole life around horses and mules and have worked my small mountain farm and logged with mules since 1971. There is a large national forest that joins my place with many miles of trails, that is where I've spent most of my leisure time trail riding and driving and camping and it has left me with wonderful memories. I've had a love of horses all my life, but I only had quarter horses and mules. The dream breeds like the fells, connemara, and the various cobs you've worked with I have heard about, but have never even seen one. Being both old and crippled now I spend most of my time on the back porch watching quarter horses graze or looking at videos on this computer, so people like you who take the time to do this are greatly appreciated. Thank you for using your talent and time in a way that helps people, even an old Blue Ridge Mountain man in America.

As an ex-runner I know what damage can be done to a person’s body running on pavement even in running shoes. What damage is being done to these horses working on pavement in metal shoes?
