Remember this beast? Ben Bray's Holden VY SS ute. They built this car specifically for burnout from a brand new Holden shell and filled it full supercharged Hemi goodness. Here's some video of it cutting loose at Supernats some years ago.
Bret the boss Stevens burnout XR8 Jack Daniels ute by far the best. Especially the exhausts shooting the smoke up in the air giving him clear sight from smoke majority of the time.
I remember this thing. Hasn't the burnout scene come along way. It was almost like he was doing it for the wrong reasons, "look at me, I can build a dedicated burnout car out of the latest model ute and 100k worth of driveline, burning up a couple grand worth of slicks, take pauses throughout my burnout so you can all appreciate it". That's not what the scene is all about. And interestingly, where is Ben and his show pony ute now?
its a drag car people, he has slicks on the back,if there were stock wheels and tyres this thing would do a killa skid, its abit hard to do burnouts on drag slicks to much grip, do any of u actually know anything about cars ffs
The engine sounds good, but what is the go with having the charger and engine up at windscreen height? How the bloody hell are you meant to drive the car if you can't see out the windscreen? This thing should never be allowed on a public road.
its a drag car not a burnout car, if he took off the drag slicks and put some stockys on the back it would do better burnouts. do u even know anything about cars.....
