Honestly you don't really get even 1% of Ben's humor from this vid. Most of the humor comes from repeating jokes. Watch the full saint louis lectures (much better than the new webcam ones), you'll be laughing your snot out
You should check out his 90s tv appearances. He is clowning on old fuddy duddy chess people like he does the kids in those lectures. There is a blindfold match where they put a camera in front of him and he 100 cant not see the board because of it and he just becomes increasingly more annoyed, and starts treating it like a joke. I watched it as a chess kid growing up but I am sure it is on youtube somewhere.

"Politics has no place in chess"... Do you know ANYTHING about chess history? Chess is a symbol of war and intellectual dominance, it's a sport. Sport is political (like it or not, I don't care): chess is overly political. Ask Spassky, ask Kasparov, ask anyone...
