Heard brick on the ol' FM radio in Jr high...clueless to context, I Loved it, as a child: ignorant to the seriousness of the topic. I could never have assumed that someday I'd know how they must have felt, mental & or emotional heartache isn't an amusement park ride...but it's definitely strength training for the mind/spirit Most of us understand these hard things:even if we can't articulate it at times. Not the same: another beautifully personal piece for a pivotal time in my young adulthood.... I know this was months ago, but hope it reaches yah 🙏✌️👍

I first heard it when im in elementary 1999 in a cassette tape and just love it even if i dont know what’s the song is all about, forgot about it through the years and when i heard it again, i just love it. Gives me chills over and over again. Thank you! 🙌🏽🙏🏽

I don't get it either, although I do kind of agree. This song seems more austere and painful with just the piano. The strings kind of make it more pleasant and lush.
