It's been 2 years since my mom passed away, and every time I hear this song, it brings tears to my eyes. Crazy how music can effect you in so many ways.
The most amazing thing about this song, I have played this (yes performed) for friends and family at a wedding and a funeral, I know very few songs that can work that way!
One of the only songs that exists that can be sung at a wedding a funeral, I say this at my Grandmother's funeral...I made it through without crying up to the end.
this song is the true meaning of life, even at the end of your road there is an angel waiting for you to take you to the land of the lord. three people dont get the real moral of life. i love ben harper and is songs actually have a meaning! EVERYONE loves u!!
I listened to this song when my Grandmother passed away in 2008. It was around the time of the eulogy that I closed my eyes and saw a silhouette of an angel. Comforted me in my time of need. Thank you, Ben, for such a beautiful song.
Each performance of Ben is just awesome... " Les personnes qui ne donnent pas une seule chance à la musique de changer le monde sont celles qui n'aiment pas la musique. " Ben Harper
My childhood sweet heart turned me on to this lastnight we use to be boy & girlfriend bk in the 5th grade and i lost her for over 20yrs and finally found her once again things happen for a reason now that we have found eachother and brought that love back into each others life we have something that so few people ever find theres only one word to explain this (FATE) This song has touched me in so many ways i hope you can find the meaning in it for you.......
I heard this song at the end of House and it had me thinking about my little brother, who is now an angel.. how tough it is to go on with life without him. Because i dont wanna go alone.
À Estelle, une femme merveilleuse, un ange qui s'ignore encore... Avec toute ma douceur et toute ma tendresse et rien que pour le plaisir d imaginer te prendre dans mes bras en écoutant cette pépite
Is it just me or is the lighting a coincidence showing Ben as an angel, the light shining around the edge of his hair and at times it beams from above onto him?
If you enjoy Ben Harper's music and if you have 5 min to spare, take a look at our unplugged cover of the song Jah Work, you'll find it in the video comments just above, hope you'll enjoy !!!
