Dinster Vlogs you heard the twilight / brighter side and 7 bottles some of my favourite of his less known records:) big up Ben Howard fans from all over, one love :) x
I could wrong... but to me he sounds like one of the greatest lead guitarists of all time. And I'm throwing about his song writing, lyrics, lead man abilities, recording abilities, basically everything. His guitar playing could stand the rest of time on it's own!
Well he's kind of more of rhythm guitarist, a lead guitarist is technically the guy who plays the lead break solos. but yeah, he's a hell of a guitar player and a great songwriter. Anyone who doesn't think so, hasn't seen him play inverted chords fretted upside down with his right hand while drumming a top the guitar and picking with his left. Love his voice and the bands harmonies are something amazing!
I went to Landmark Festival solely for Ben. He never disappoints. The rest of the experience was horrible though. 1 hr lines for drinks. They did not plan the logistics of this festival at all.
Thank you, very much, for posting this. I have been looking for an upload for over a year now. I was here, just off to stage left (close to the hula-hooping guy!) and this was the best experience that my fiancee and I have ever had at a concert. So happy to be able to relive this now again and again!!
21:40 Raw emotion. Absolutely awesome, but i'm worried he has lost his old self when he was laughing and happy at live gigs!! None the less, still an amazing performance as always Ben!
yeah sam, i've got the same feeling. he appears changed from every kingdom live shows, there's a different energy from Forget where we were onwards, still amazing songwriting and performance. I guess artists as well as people evolve/transform.
the way he finished with the fear was incredible, a beautiful version too, i feel that ben has really grown with this record, seems his most raw music yet, some of the facial expressions whilst singing certain lyrics just tell you a story.
i cant help but feel like something deeper happened at the end by his run down... put the guitar dawn... left the stage, seemed like an ENDING so to speak
are you serious?! it's played with pure passion and love for the music, i actually felt prior to this live performance the drums don't sound raw, as most of ben's performances are, a fantastic drummer who put his own swing on ben's music, brilliant stuff.
