@@sunsioux444I mean, you have to put a hell of a lot of whip into a singles serve if you want it to be deadly and force your opponent to hit a worse return. Ben has one of the biggest serves in the game and he is willing to lose a few points to get that more inconsistent return from his opponents.

@@derekc.5063singles is riddled with unforced errors. The main reason being is that you need much more exact and precise shots or your opponent will dominate you from the kitchen line. If you put up any "meh" volleys at this level of play, it will get swatted down with ease and the point will be lost. So players need to constantly go for more difficult shots that have higher than average failure rates than many doubles shots would have

Great match! So close and what skill! Please do not hold an interview in the middle of a match. That minimizes the game and very distracting for the viewer, shows up unprofessionally.

Garnett only needs a better serve and to slow his game down a little. He can be unbeatable too. What a great player!

Great match. Connor sells his soul whenever he scrambles, always trying to hit miracle winners instead of trying to work his way back into the point with the soft game. He lost alot of points trying to hit miracle winners on the run, only to have Ben easily hit the next ball into the open court.

(Selkirk) nets costing players more critical points with the bar bounce do-over. Rule should be changed because the do-over points are winners almost 100% of the time. Just make the bar out of play like the side of the backboard in basketball. I think it’s safe to say that most of the time, if you don’t get to the ball by the time, it hits the bar, it wasn’t going back over the net anyhow.

The difference between Ben and other players is that other players lack the final confidence to close the game. They always choke in the end.

the announcer said all ages can play and one can put grandma on the court, but remember this sport also requires safety, agility, physical fitness, movement, flexibility. Don’t be fooled - there are injuries in pickleball! just because it looks easy doesn’t mean it is easy. it’s very easy to fall in this game if you are not playing correctly
