Someone can’t do simple math…. Seriously! Both the announcers as well as the PPA have Connor Garnett at a 70% win percentage in singles which is correct it’s just slightly underneath that. And then they put immediately before that Ben Johns singles record up showing 179 w and 20 l…. And they said that that is a also a 70% win percentage, And even put it on the screen at 70% on this video which is not true. That would be a 90% winning percentage!

Though it's hard to be able to give the greatest player in the world advice, I think the one change he may need to implement more is to be more aggressive for some of those shots he clearly is in control of early in the point and punch the ball at his opponent's during the cat and mouse. The perfect example of that is the point at the 15:50 mark, as he relies too heavily on his great cat and mouse skills and ends up losing points that he could easily win early in the point and save, time, energy, and body wear and tear. He often gives his opponent too many opportunities to pass him when it's totally unnecessary. Regardless, he still almost always finds a way to win as he is the GOAT of pickleball.

I wonder if they gave them any practice balls and how long before the first tournament of the year. It seems like they all played with the ball for the first time at the first tournament In January.
