No worries I bought one already and it's not too bad for the price. I like the sweeping second hand. It seems to keep time pretty well but I wouldn't get it to close to water.

Hi Strawman, thanks for the comment. I believe the links are not solid but folded in a way where they appear to be solid. It is not easily visible to see the links are folded, the construction is not the same as the normal budget folded link construction. The more common construction links you can clearly see the folds at the side of the links, on this strap the only joins are at the top and bottom, so between the links, so it takes close scrutiny to see. hope that answers the question.
