Pylon Tech batteries only have 15 cells when most similar batteries have 16 cells. You beed to a 15 cell battery on your inverter to match the pylon tech.

Inverter is set to 15 string, might try a firmware update and see if that makes a difference.

As you mentioned growatt SPF 5000es draws 75w idle which is 1 kw near 12 hours night.Whats the new inverter consumption ? 20w?

Looking at the app for overnight, it's about 8-10watts.

@@Bensgarage That's massive difference.Did you tried any firmware update on growatt,it has many options with fan noise, lower starting voltage sor solar.I think its fans drawing unnecessary watts at idle/night when consumption is not needed.App measuring its not actual on the spot never the less you see the difference.

@GreekSIMRACING I only tried updating the firmware when the growatt inverter started showing a fault, so I have not run it using the newer firmware. I have since been sent a new motherboard to try to get it up and running again, I'll try to do some more testing if I manage to fix it.

We have a string of ten (3800w), but I smashed one, so only nine are wired up at the moment.

That is very good so you should have a lot of sun in the days I have 10 panels 5550w into strings, And this month, the top was 7600w so the girl what her original very good create me a lot of problems I want to switch to 10.2 kw inverter powmr I see you can connect to PV strings I’m not sure if it’s dual face
