Here at Ben's Garage we upload videos about Range Rovers, Fiat Pandas and tractors, right through to lawnmowers and small engine machinery. We try our best to do a professional job, whilst working on a tight budget. Most of the time we succeed but there are times where the stars don't align and we end up getting major headaches. All the good and the bad will be shown in our videos, we don't just edit the good bits. We hope you will enjoy the videos, and if you do then please consider subscribing and becoming part of the Ben's Garage community.

i know it 3yrs old this vid but the front passenger door wont open from inside the car,it does open from outside, any idea if it could have been accidently locked so it dont open from inside the car?as i have to open it from outside to let my wife out...lol..thnx ROB from uk 🚗
It sounds like the inside handle has become disconnected from the door mechanism. You’d have to pull the door card off to see. Got some free manuals over on my website, they might help you take it apart.
Great lateral thinking re looking for a similar model…I had a Renault master..great powerful van..my daily driver is a 2016 Kango petrol..so far 225000 thousand and just normal servicing……let’s see the next video of the failed high pressure pump🙂…I still love my 4.4 TDV8 and both my Discovery 2a….I am in west Aust 😅
I have to admit, I am no mechanic but I really enjoy this channel as much as your airgun channel. You just have a way to you that makes things work out. Thanks for the content.
I got it wrong with the cylinder numbers. Nearly all Renaults, number one cylinder is at the gear box end, however on the Mascott they are numbered from the front of the engine.
The play 5:00 is because there is bushing there that is missing probably disintegrated. I know this because i had Fiat Uno with the same problem and the steering rack is very similar if not the same with exception of few things.
Currently out of stock in the UK, you will also need a wiring kit and depending on the year the tow electrics will need activating. www.autodoc.co.uk/umbra-rimorchi/15776864#trailer-hitch
@@Bensgarage thank you for getting back in touch it is a 2014 Range Rover Evoque it is a good strong looking towbar and the way it is fitted on thank you again
I follow you regularly on your other channel. Subscribed here because you and your wife are such dog lovers like my wife and I. We love the new mutt. Fond regards.
Great video Ben/Sam/'Mrs Sam' :) Big fan of all y'all. Used to do a lot of hard core rock crawling in some heavily modified Jeeps, but now days, some moderate 'green laning' is just my speed. BEAUTIFUL Countryside - I won't be showing this to my wife or Ben will have unwanted American visitors (with the L322 stuck at home...)
A lot of people say these are pretty comfy and quiet tyres. So I was thinking about getting these but I would have way more sidewall which helps with any tyre. Car I am currently driving has Nexen something with low sidewall and they are so bloody unpleasant and noisy, it feels like you are always driving on really rough road full of potholes. and on highway you HAVE TO FUCKING SCREAM IN ORDER TO TALK TO YOUR PASSENGER. Fucking insane. I am really thinking of buying these cheap chinese tyres and see how good they are but I don't really want to waste even little money on tyres that don't offer good smooth, soft and quiet ride.
Hey Ben, Thanks again for your hospitality. It was really great to meet you in person. I'm already looking forward to our next visit to France next year. Let's see what else I can optimize on the RR this winter. BR Christian
Nice setup! I like the idea of the flush mounted panels as they should cut down on wind noise at motorway speeds - I'm using a Lensun 200watt flexible panel bolted to a Frontrunner Outfitters rack, which is pretty silent. Same setup with the battery, 100aH AGM in the rear right cubby in the boot, CTek DC to DC charger keeps it topped up and charges the starter battery when the service battery is fun. Works great for camping with a 3d printed replacement for the existing light/cigarett socket, which gives me 2 sockets and 4 usb ports with a nicer light :)
I thought it was an ex police car when it turned up. Owner lives in Austria and he thinks it was imported from somewhere else. I've never seen a white one before.
The growatt inverter charges every 30 days from the grid to cycle and equalize the batteries (this is not a setting you can change) .... However if you don't want it to charge from the grid you have to set the charging amp to 0. It will then only use solar to charge...
Originally I only wanted the EGR's deleting, but it was the same price for a re-map and delete, and I figured I don't drive the car hard so wasn't too worried about putting extra strain on the gearbox or drive train. It made a massive improvement to it's drive-ability.
