Ben's Ultimate MCU Tier List 

Don't know man, watched the last season a while ago after taking a longish break, and my lord, it was slow. If you just want a bunch of drama, then sure, but I'm here to watch Marvel stuff, not some lad brooding in the basement of a church the whole season. In general, Daredevil always felt a little too heavy-hearted, or maybe just had too much of usual drama stuff. As far as all the shows go, sure, I think it's fairly good, got some good characters and character development, but I'd probably watch Jessica Jones any day over DD now that I've watched both. In summary, I think Ben chose fairly well, though I'd personally put it in maybe a B.

@@Ommfgcool well yeah it comes straight off the defenders where it all kicked off after frickin zombie ninjas and a building falling on daredevils face. He's watched several people die including people very close to him, he's questioning his faith and what he wants to do with himself. Daredevil is a street level hero unlike the avengers he cares less about aliens and alternate dimensions, and more about the gangs on the streets and murderers and rapists and drug dealers. It isn't a classical avengers story so why do you expect kid friendly "oh damn I just watched my father figure die time to have one funeral scene and then we can move swiftly on". Id much rather have hours of interesting character development so the stakes are higher for the intense scenes rather than have no interest in the characters and therefore I'm only interested in cool backflips and watching men get punched. Also I don't understand, you want to watch Jessica Jones, a struggling alcoholic after being raped by a man with mind control, but you don't want to watch a blind depressed ninja come to terms with the possibility that he may have to relinquish his faith in order to commit murder. There really is barely any difference in the amount of brooding going on there.

There’s enough Marvel movies with enough variety that even people who think they hate them would definitely enjoy at least one of them Like Iron Man or Guardians of the Galaxy or Thor Ragnorok

What's all the hype about a zero trust security approach?

I'm convinced it's because it came so quickly after Tobey Maguire, so it ended up being inevitably compared when they're entirely different characters. The first film was great. I think the second film going into the Green Goblin so soon after too, and in such an horrendously shit way, unfortunately buries it 6 feet under for me.

What were the good aspects of it for you?

@@arbitrary_thoughts Not same person, but for me, I liked Andrew Garfield's portrayal of Peter Parker and Spider-Man ("SM") a lot. I think out of the three we've seen, he had the best quips. The action was good too, with some interesting takes on him acting like a spider (webbing up the Lizard at the school, using a web in the sewers, crawling across the ceiling when running from the Lizard). That said, I admit I prefer the action we've seen in others like the Doc Oc fight in SM2, and Vulture in SMH. Emma Stone had great chemistry with Garfield, likely given they were dating at the time, and out of the three they had the most believable relationship. My only real gripe with TASM1 is that the Lizard looks a little goofy. TASM2 on the other hand. It shared some strengths with TASM1 but it gets drowned by how abysmal its villains are. Jamie Foxx was fine as Electro, and we've seen him do the character service since in SMNWH, but there were some writing choices that ruined TASM2. Dialogue was bad, particularly between SM and Peter Parker and the villains, quips didn't land as well as in TASM1, hated the music emphasis on Electro, Goblin looked goofy and generally was a bad decision to include both given it was the same issue Raimi's third movie had (too many villains). Would have preferred them to focus on Electro only for TASM2, or someone completely different, with their tease at the end as in for a third movie to reveal Harry Osborne as the Goblin, perhaps even with a sinister six.

I think most of them are except iron fist. I thought daredevil was amazing, seasons 1 and 3 are some of the best TV I've ever seen, 2 was okay but some of the character decisions ruined it for me, but the stuff with the punisher was great. JJ first season was also phenomenal. Luke cage wasnt as good but still very good. Iron fist in comparison was kinda trash. He spent the entire show being a fucking crybaby, getting manipulated constantly and throwing tantrums like a 10 year old despite training with monks for years to control his emotions and half the show was about him trying to not throw tantrums but then doing it anyway when it matters. The psycho zombie villain was the only good part of iron fist. Either way daredevil alone is easy S for me.

@@Defnotdiablo I have to admit I don't remember iron fist very well but I thought the casting was great and I remembered I enjoyed it. Didn't fully watch JJ tho. I didn't really like it. But Daredevil definitely s tier for me.

@@TheSilverWolfx I think the casting except iron fist was good, the actor for iron fist was kind lackluster imo like some of the emotional scenes really weren't convincing me. I think the first seasons of Jessica Jones was amazing and it's sad they killed off killgrave so quick he could've been great as a reoccurring villain the sameway Fisk was in daredevil.

The Amazing Spider-Man movie was good. The sequel imo was ruined. I wish it weren't and I'm glad andrew got to come back
