I was going to post a 'Marshall's Rug Gallery' 🫰 plug to my song dedicated to the Raptors because of your love of basketball and rap. But I thought that had no lift (shout out to Zydrunas Ilgauskas). So instead I'll just say thank you for the pin. Your openness about mental illness has helped me do the same with my bipolar. I'll be there for the 100K celebration! Scoot Dooo.. ❤️💨 (excuse me)
because he cares about his own comfort while not caring about the audiences. i usually enjoy the pod, and certainly enjoyed this one, but he's an acquired taste for sure. a lot of times i watch and he's just annoying, so instead of hate-watch i just turn that episode off. hard to get big when you engender that response from people, and my response is clearly not new to Rick.
@@dizzlebizzle8424 well he's at a 100k.... Is that big? So... It was probably just the fact his podcast isn't that old. This isn't much of an acquired taste so much as it is a hidden gem. Hate watch? da fuck. People do that? How does Rick not care about the audience? He cares about his comedy being good and well thought out, which is caring about thee audience, that's what we're here for. Or did you want him to like, tell you he loves you or some shit? His production value is very high for a podcast, he edits like crazy, the callback jokes, the inside jokes for the viewers, the shticks. He gets insanely good guests. He even says at times he turns down products cos he doesnt want to pitch items that he doesn't believe in, and sell people junk. You're just so off base. I mean, have your opinion, fine, but don't act like that's the general consensus. I rarely see negative feedback in the comments. In fact I often hear people lauding him and his podcast for being so exceptional. "When you engender that response from people", uhh ok goof, you're not planet Earth's representative. He engenders that response from _you._
Love me some Benny Shwas. Good ep. No, great ep. By the way, "ep." is short for episode. I just don't have time to say episode every time. For you "non-Hollywood types.".
So you would CRY because you hate TIM so much that you would FLICK yourself in the EYE? You would force your TEAR DUCTS to CRY? SO, you want less tears in your body because you HATE TIM ROBINSON? You would DEHYDRATE YOURSELF and RISK BRAIN DAMAGE because you HATE TIM is that it? Is that WHY?
Did you watch more than the first one? Genuinely curious, because me and like all 5 others I've talked to about it really liked it but never watched the second ep (yet anyway)
@@C.A.D. I definitely watched both. I can't remember if it was in the same night or two days in a row, though. It was quite a while ago, wasn't it? There isn't a new special that I've missed?
@@C.A.D. Oh, got it! I had to double check Netflix to make sure, but I did watch all 3. 2020 feels like 10 years ago, goddamn. I bet I could rewatch them and they'd feel brand new to me.
I've been hoping this interview would happen. Ben is the PERFECT person to play along with. Matches every beat. You can tell how happy Rick is to have someone match him. It's the best episode.
Ben Schwartz is like the only person i've really looked into their career and i dont usually do that with actors/comedians, but he's such a wonderful and busy guy that its so fasinating to see how much stuff he's done throughout the years
Ben is the guest I’ve wanted on here for so long! This did not disappoint. Now, l’m hoping for the day Sam Richardson is a guest. I need to see you recount that story to him.
Rick,Rick?Rick. I would just like to confirm for you that I feel very much like I am in the living room with you and your guests. And the way you check in throughout the episodes.. with looks to the camera, the way you ask us viewers how things are going,...uhhh, it's great!! All of it, the 3 camera views works, your magic shines through it all. Thanks as always for sharing your talents!! And adding humor, laughter, and silliness to my days!!!
Ben is such a genuine complimentary person. In addition to his talent and hilariousness, he just seems like the best person ever. I’m glad Glassman complimented him so much as well. He deserves it. ❤️
Ben Schwartz is all time. A fucking gift to humanity. Watching him chat to my boy Rick was absolute heaven. Could have watched and laughed at this for another 24 hours straight.
As much as I love watching TYSO regardless of guest, I have never been more excited to watch an episode of anything ever. I already know these two's energies will be wonderful
Been wondering why I haven’t seen you in the comment sections lately , maybe I’m not paying attention haha but I see you on all my favourite pods’ comments
There aren't many things I comment on or feel the need to. Your podcast is what I watch to relive a lot of stress, anxiety and depression in my life. I just wanted to say thank you for being you and putting yourself out there and I'm really happy I found you just browsing RU-vid. You make even watching advertising hilarious.
Top notch Mr. Rickers! I've been wanting Ben on for a while and this is why. I'll never have two people in my living room that are this level of funny so I love getting to sit in your living room and experience it with the two of you!
35:00 This is the exact moral of the story behind the quote _"This too shall pass."_ I'm pretty sure there are a bunch of supposed origins for it, but the one I'm familiar with is a Persian King who assembled his wise men to find a way to make him happy when he would get depressed. After a long search, one of them brought him a very plain ring with those words inscribed on it; _"This too shall pass."_ It wasn't special or expensive, and there was no magic infused within it. It was only meant to serve as a reminder that nothing, good or bad, lasts forever. Any current situation or event, no matter how wonderful or horrible it is, will not last forever.
This is my favorite episode since the last one, and I believe Ben Schwartz is a legendary comedian who should go down in history with the other greatest comedians ever, but my favorite part of the episode is the Blanketed statement montage.
Fantastic energy between the two of you. Love to see Rick around someone who has obviously inspired him, who is also incredibly humble. Such a cool convo
That upbeat music underneath BS and the cut when he started talking about someone passing was 🤌🤌 brilliant!! 😂 Keep going!! Also, the improv bit from Ben on IB guard 🤣🤣😅 ridiculous!! Ok, also why is the guy soo good at freestyling??????!! Amazing!!! 👏👏 I love the end!
