Definitely has a lot of potential. Huge serve, amazing reach (it’s like he grows his body by several feet to reach some of those overheads), great reflexes. When he starts translating that to more consistent wins on the ATP tour outside of just the grand slams, he’ll definitely join Fritz as an American to be reckoned with!

He's already surpassed Fritz by many people's standards. Obviously Fritz has far many more years on tour than Shelton and thus bigger achievements (M1000), but it's clear Ben has more talent and seems to intimidate top players more than Fritz

Now, we're talking! THE breakout star of 2023. Shelton reached AO QF, USO SF, Laver Cup title, Shanghai QF, Tokyo 500 title, & a peak of #15. Shelton posted significant match wins over Paul (USO & Tokyo), Tiafoe (USO), & Sinner (Shanghai). Not bad for his first full year on tour. Shelton has breathed new life into US men's tennis!

One can’t help but throw temper tantrums and the other says he wasn’t focusing on any player other than djocovic and then promptly paid for it by losing to a player other than djocovic. Shelton has only ever been excited, never angry or sad, and eager to play his best tennis in his first year on tour. Celebrating in a MILDLY different way to everyone else doesn’t make you arrogant
