I always saw Ben as a liability since he technically is responsible for Carley/Doug, Duck, Katjaa, Brie, Chuck's deaths He put the entire group in danger twice, once at the motor enn with stealing supplies and giving them to the bandits (leading to the attack at the motor inn) and once at crawford with taking the axe out of the door handle, leaving walkers to overrun the school. Causing Brie to die. And he put Clementine in danger in chapter 3, which led to Chuck saving her, which caused him to die, I pointed out clem being in danger because Ben had a moment to help, or do something, but he pretty much ditched Clem, leaving Chuck to save her. He's a coward, a liar, and an absolute liability imo. So every playthrough I do at the staircase in chapter 4. I always watch that walker grab Ben and let him die on his own. I do know, if you save Ben. He'll come and help you no matter how much of a prick you were to him the entire game, but I feel like that doesn't make up the fact he killed like a 1/2 of the group with his fuck-ups. Anyway that's my opinion. I think i'm in the majority of peoples negative opinion on ben.

@@thedaynester I mean no offense but Doug's death isn't Ben's fault really, since Lily went to shoot Ben but Doug protected him, taking the bullet instead, so Doug kinda killed himself, everyone else though? Ben's fault

@Jake from state farm he did that to protect the group by once again letting bandits take the supplies which only delayed the inevitable but him doing that showed that he was willing to make sacrifices for his group

If Ben was younger (like 12-15) maybe I would've saved him but Ben is 17,18 years old he's a young adult and he is responsible for over 4 deaths so screw ben

There’s also a reality where no one goes with him

But doesn't that only happen if you miss the jump? I noticed that in every scene, Lee had cut off his arm which I didn't and I managed to jump smoothly.
