Lol the step up in level btw was from area level to...british level! I can see why Boxxer kept him at Area level for so long, & to think Hearn was saying he should move faster....he couldn't even school the last 2 guys at area level fully
Its funny that the highest level fight in years is creating this much complaining. Incredible fight by two incredible fighters, it was down to what you liked....lets have it again
Quittaker hugged Cameron then flung his head back like the spirit of ike Turner pulled his hair, then suplexed them both over the ropes like randy Savage. It's alright when your dancing around part time poundland security guards looking like prime prince naseem but he got fount out Saturday.
Whittaker will take a lengthy period out and change his team. He’ll then have a warm up fight and use the time out & team changes as an excuse for not taking the immediate rematch.
Me and the people i watched the fight with all had bivol winning by 2 rounds. Wasn't shouting robbery though just a very close fight one in which you could have scored it either way based on what you like or look for. Lets see it again.
Great card, another main even loss for matchroom 😂..... Beterbiev outlanded Bivol in 6 rds to 5 with one even. I had it 7-5 Beterbiev. Highlight for me was seeing Kadyrov and Beterbiev embrace. Such a proud moment for the people of Chechnya. Ахмат сила☝️
Ha nice to see him being fouund out' Was waitig for it if you act like him against other boxers you better be able to back it up' Just wish he got sparked....
Would be a great fight, what a shout.. Unfortunately, AJ would duck that fight just the same way he's ducked every other challenge. He genuinely thought he was gonna walk through Usyk in the first fight and his ego made him take he second one. Wardley beats AJ in 3 rounds. Wardley Vs Dubois is the new rivalry
@@Toomanysheeple1he ducked every challenge other than fighting Usyk twice 😂 and signing the contract for the fury fight only for the judge to force fury to fight Wilder again?
Bivol was on the run the whole fight. There's still great skill in that, and he did some good work. But if you're gonna run, you gotta really outclass the opponent over 12 rounds. He had moments but also took a few rounds off. There were a couple times Beterbiev looked like he might take over, but credit to Bivol he pulled it back. But, Beterbiev was in charge for the whole fight.
But “in charge” needs to manifest into clean effective punches landed tho. If we score for the man just “taking charge” then Derek Chisora would be the all time GOAT
Teddy Atlas and Carl Frampton 7-5 to Beterbiev ,same as me and a lot of fans . For me it was a massive tactical error on Bivols part. he would rack up a points lead at start of the round with pretty counterpunching then chill . Then he would let Arthur gain momentum by throwing punches and coming forward for most of the round. judges are harsh towards “negative” fighters who are moving a lot backwards throwing light punches . Aim should be to dominate the rounds not just to secure early part of them and back peddle like he was doing . That’s where Bivol lost that fight , he wasn’t conclusive enough in what he was doing . 🥊
Ben Whittaker vs Liam Cameron Scorecards doesnt make sense tbh its apparently scored 58-57 both ways and 58-58 so is that 6 rounds? It ended in 5 lol. Also that means 2x9 4x10 point rounds each for a draw
When a fighter is going forward towards his apponent every round, and having to follow his appointment around the ring in every round, counts for a lot, when points are scored, also accompare, all bivols previous fights? Never has he fought off the back foot, he usually the one that attacks his opponents!!
I think we have to acknowledge Beterbiev as the greatest for 2 reasons. Firstly he is 6 years older and beyond his prime whereas Bivol is in his prime. Secondly Beterbiev won at Bivols game. Everyone said Beterbiev ko or Bivol points. It was Beterbiev on points. Even if you think Bivol marginally won the fact Beterbiev made it close boxing Bivol makes him great. On Wardley Clarke - Clarke came pacing himself for another 12 round war - Wardley thought F**k that !
Maybe beterbiev was trying to damage bivols hand so that bivol would drop it low allowing beterbiev easier shots at the face/chin and if that was the case beterbiev hit his target every time
He landed more punches though lol its not amateur boxing this is a fight! You dont win a fight shelling up on the ropes regardless of you are partially blocking ahots or not
If I am correct, Bivol has not spoke complaining, since the fight, that he was robbed or anything like that? The only people who have been, gobbing off, are people outside the ring 😂
Beterbiev v Bivol was a close fight, but Beterbiev won, Bivols shots, hit bieves Gloves all the way threw the fight!! With Beterbiev, taking the middle of the ring, and Bivol on the back foot every round,
CONNER BEN, looks OK in fights. Looks fast n throws loads of what yad think, are knockout, and powerful shots, but he hasn't got, his dad's power, or knockout, punch!! Watch conner Ben's last fight?
🤔no he didnt forget what he was there for.....he knew exactly how much he was getting paid and completing 4 rounds is the cut off point and after that he could get out of there with the money safely in his bank account 😂 QUITIKER
Clearly you don't know boxing because you spelt his name wrong to begin with. We will see the edited message soon I guess. Also, it was a 50/50 fight that could have went either way. Your opinion is no more valuable than any other youtuber, plus lots of ex-fighters and pundits gave it to Beterbiev, just as they did Bivol. That is when you know a fight is close. You just want confirmation bias as clearly Bivol is your favourite fighter or you lost money on him. Take a walk
It was very close, but I Agree. You don’t get points for smashing the guard/the gloves of the fighter. Bivol’s defensive work was incredible truly the true art of boxing at it’s finest. He put on a boxing clinic against a monster puncher. Landed more impactful shots also.
