I had almost given up on you. Your earlier videos were a bit scattered and it was difficult to follow your thought process. You’ve gotten much better! Keep up the great work and I look forward to your continued success within this media. Kudos!!

Oh nice it looks like the Systainer is a color they call Anthracite.

Nice. I was just looking at some nonbranded ones on line.

@@daddysharespace yeah under the Tanos brand you can buy a number of colors. Sometimes buying the Tanos over the Festool will have some cost savings. I think the Anthracite color is comparable to Festool branded Systainers in price. The light grey with blue T-Loc is the ones I have saved money on but this was pre generation 3 Systainers. I don’t know if they are still less or not.

Makes me consider putting my red yellow and teal tools in systainers for storage compatibility.

I don't have any festool stuff but that was a really good video on the explanation of that accessory for the miter gauge. Keep up the good work.

Love mine, I use it all the time. The fact that you can level your work piece is great also! Edit: let me know if you have the same problem I had. It seems like the thread on the stops are too long. I had to add additional washers to reduce the length in other to make them tight.

I like the fence and how it adds length. How far back can you pull the miter sled?... How wide of a piece will that allow you to cut? Just trying to figure out max dimensions of workpiece.

do you have the issues with the sliding table being higher than the main table?

I checked mine when I first purchased it and it was acceptable to me. With that being said I am not a professional so my tolerance for imperfections may be greater than someone with more experience. So far I am very happy with my purchase. It is a cool little saw. Thanks for checking out the video.

I don’t think all three extrusions are supposed to be assembled and ran like that without support from underneath. Its putting decent torque on the festool sliding table. I was looking at the bench dog miter gauge extension a while back and got sidetracked but that came to mind. If you spin the saw 180 on the stand and use the stand support sideways (instead of an out feed support) the extrusion should slide on that, but then what happens to your material support? The stop block should work that way.

That is a great point. From the design of the UG stand for the saw you can place the saw in any of the 4 directions. I might try it with the support on the side of the fence extension to see what it is like. Thanks for checking out the video.

You’ve sold the saw and the Benchdogs fence to me i just need to convince the banker 💰🤬😂. Have you tried out the MK 2 parallel guides ? Bloody awesome 👍. By the way I love the gloves , keep them tools clean and it keeps them tools mean 👍😂

Maybe a dumb question, but isn't the saw supposed to be turned 180 degrees? So that the workpiece is also supported by that table part of the stand that is flipped upwards?
@daddysharespace
@daddysharespace 5 месяцев назад
The way the stand is designed it can be used as left or right support and you can use it as in feed or out feed. It is a pretty sweet design.
