Benchmade Adamas Fixed in CPM Cru Wear... Let Talk Benchmade Knives! 

I've got the black version of the knife and added Tony's scales. I carry it on my hiking pack shoulder strap. I like the sheath retention the durability of the knife. Tony's scales definitely add a nice look to the knife. Your video is how i found out about Tony's grips so thanks!

The Benchmade Adamas 375 is one of my favorite knives, I own three, the old version 375 in D2 black and the 375-1 in CruWear, dark earth and black. The Adamas 375 is a purpose driven design a slim tactical bachup knife and yes the sheath is not great but good enough and secure for the job. With handel scales it becomes a full-fledged knife, make or buy a kydex sheath and it is a awesome knife. The handle scales from tpgrips for the Adamas are awesome, I own green black G10 and green green black canvas micarta handle scales.

Keep the edge on the CPM-Cruwear oiled, because it will oxidize. I put a thin coat of Vaseline on my "Anonimus" sharpened edge.

my one issue with your comments on the bugout is it was designed to be super light and an edc, not designed to be a brute and you can get scale upgrades in their custom shop like titanium or carbon fiber without gong to a third party and those scales are not flimsy at all which would solve your problem. Basically, your holding a knife to different standards than it was made to handle. Other than that, Great video.

I have this with tp grip scales. The sheath does leave something to be desired and mine had way to much retention so I loosened that black screw and it helped. I also put an ulti-clip on the sheath and it rides well in my pocket.

I have a SOG Pillar. The only thing on the Adamas that I would want for the Pillar is that Cru-wear steel. I love the Pillar bowie shape with the straight ricasso. The sheath is definitely better on the Pillar, but I don't like the Tech-lock. Now that SOG can make axis locks I think they are positioning themselves as the alternative to Benchmade.

I have the same Adamas and also have Tony’s grips. Absolutely love the knife. I also really like the sheath. It was a little stiff initially, but after loosening the retention screw and a little use, it “broke in” nicely. Just bought a Nimravus and wish I could find a sheath for it, just like the one that comes with the Adamas.

The plastic loops are for molle attachment. I have the exact same knife, the retention is good for tip up carry. It also doesn't make the rattle for mine, maybe they have some inconsistencies. The bugout is an ultralight hiking knife. In its class almost nothing completed with the standard weight for size. It's 1.9 ounces. Even the new Hogue Deka in magnacut with the injection molded scales is heavier by a quarter ounce. Basically, it's not meant for bushcraft or tactical, it's a very light edc. All that said, the elephant in the Benchmade room is the pricing. Holy hell have they shot up over the last 2 years or so. They're selling the bugout for nearly $200! The only reason I'm still buying them is because I'm military and we get special pricing and tax exemption on base. Even on sale at BHQ or KC or SMKW their stuff is wildly overpriced. They're running head on into the Spartan/Microtech/Reate price ranges, and their gold class eclipses even that. Nuts. I do love my fixed and folding Adamas, and my Nimravus. My 810 Contego because it has the 940 blade shape scaled up and made of CPM-M4, and my orange mini bugout cuz it's cool. I'm definitely gonna check out TP Grips for those scales though, it can use a change from the para wrap. Good video, man.

I bought the Kodiak Chopper when he first marketed them. I have many large fixed blade knives, but the Kodiak is the heaviest & best chopper that I own. For EDC carry, I just bought myself the CPM-Cruwear Benchmade "Anonimus" for Christmas; $310 from Benchmade, $280 from Cabela's plus 15% off & I used my Rewards points, so it was free to me! Talk about a slicer. I have $280 still on my card, but I'm saving them until Cabela's carries a "Magnacut" fixed blade. It makes you wonder, for what they charge, why their Quality Control & Quality Assurance is fading. Take the money & run? I also cherish my fixed blades from the "Hunt" series. They're also "scalpels".

I got rockscale design scales for my bugout, and they make the knife super sturdy.

I just got to the end of the vid.. Those grips are sick.. makes the knife.

The malice clips it came with for some reason i cannot get it on my battle belt the way i want . I wish there was a video showing ways to mount this knife with malice clips. I can get it on the belt but it dosent get tight enough theres to much play in it pissing me off . These clips are like ment to be woven thru a bunch of hoops like on q vest or something but my battle belt only has 2 loops on the belt and it is attached to the holster with screws so how you supposed to belt mount this thing

It was the only knife i could find at Cabela's that had a decent sheath i needed a good battle knife. I got the 19x as well so looks good together. But yeah i like the knife i put the parachord on it but i am not really happy with the shealth and deff not happy with the way it mounts on my belt i need to figure something out asap because right now it's a paper weight

I bought my Adamas almost 12 years ago. It’s far better than this one. It has rope cutting teeth on the backside which this version does not have. I paid 60 dollars for it. Has held up great and the sheath is fantastic. You have no idea what a perfect combination of survival and combat this knife really is. My sheath also has clip mechanisms and not those flimsy rubber straps you have

I have the kore edc belts wich i dont think you can mount it on that at all idk and i have the kore battle belt with the loops

How is the nimravus too thin?

I dunno, I don't think the sheath was that bad. I have sheaths from cold steel and crkt that were much worse.

If it's not broken don't fix it.

I do not like benchmade.. Because of most of the stuff you say. They are played up.. I do like the blade shape of the adamas but it needs handles..

Bugouts are crap handle out of the box !the clone with carbon fiber $30.00 !

Benchmade is a customer disloyal stupid high for no real reason butt greed price ! ! I love the reasonably priced clones !!!
