Super sweet knife, my first choice if I were to get an OTF for sure. My heart goes pitter pat every time you set that 940 down on the table though.

Might have to pick that one up. I've been back on a otf kick lately. Halo vi is still my favorite. It's just violent and fun to play with. The combat troodon comes in second.

I love the OTF's the only issue is really the legality of them and also the price $$$ they are all usually very expensive. but they are awesome to watch, and seen like real fidgety knives!

Very cool I have a microtech OTF in elmax and a cheap Chinese lightning OTF in 440c comes in a few blade shapes and it’s a great otf for 30 something dollars fires out and in gand has never failed and comes in a handful of blade shapes but I wouldn’t trust stabbing car doors with it like u can with a microtech. I always wanted a benchmade OTF but they cost more than a microtech when u can get much better than a microtech in my opinion just take a look at there destruction tests it’s very surprising splitting 2by for in have stopping through thick aluminum and even thin steel comes with a window breaker hammered through pots pans trees with very large batons and comes out like new with a scratch or two I love it mines has a weird swooping tanto blade that looks gorgeous and unique unless it’s a cold steel triad lock which is my strongest locking system that could probably do the same but there not oft knives which an OTF is very impressive when made so strong it up there with a triage lockso I passed still very cool though. I have an Almar sere in camo g10 for trade along with a Benchmade HK and a Zt 0350 I think the number is and the Hogue EX-05 for trade all in mint condition but I don’t think I have the box’s cause they went straight into my pelican box and might have sliced a price of paper. I know I was rude the 1st trade I asked for but I have some issues and am no medicated since the minds a strange thing and it’s hard to trust doctors who 1/3 of there work just makes things worse or get u addicted to something but as you know I needed to try and my new meds have worked so far. I also have a mint cold steel AK-47 in the cts xhp witch I personally like better than there s35vn models cts -xhp is more exotics a little easier to sharpen and might even be canceled as a knife steel cause the company that makes it said they don’t make enough money on that knife steel and we are seeing besides customs very few mid tech or cheaper knives use it anymore and just might go up in price because it’s a great steel that isn’t being made or at least made for very few knives which also could be ended SORRY FOR THE LONG POST WHEN I TALK BLADES ITS HARD TO STOP AND I still feel bad how we left of and if u so want to trade I promise some surprises to give u along with the trade because I really feel bad about my impatience and would love to make it up to u. I also many great fixed blades which i know u like folders but it’s always good to have a SHTF BLADE THAT CAN HANDLE Any thing and more a folder could along with tactical axes regular axes machetes the crovel shovel which is in great basically mint that but far is the toughest small shovel I could find and I’ve checked through hundreds and haven’t found anything even close but it is heavier than probably all mini shovels check the crovel out and u can steel an America made shovel made by one guy and he fine toothed it doe 5 yrs in his metal shop to make the toughest shovel he could and he did a fantastic shovel I haven’t found a tougher hand it down to your kids shovel and I’ve checked through hundreds nothing in the same quality by very far SORRY FOR THE BOOK HOPEFULLY U WILL READ IT BUT I UNDERSTAND IF U DONT ITS A LONG TEXT YHAT I PROBABLY WOULDN’T HAVE GOTTEN THROUGH I JUST MAKE A NOT OF THE BLADES ANS CROVEL SO I CAN MAKE MY OWN DECISION THOUGH IM POSITIVE YOU WILL LIKE MY FINDINGS U TO U THOUGH

I also have the fixed blade infidel which was even better than I though great geometry razor sharp D2 steel double edged good grip and a great sheath that u can mount in many places plus it looks gorgeous if I could bring a defense blade the fixed blade infidel would be my choice or at least a backup to swords axes tomahawks machetes but up close the infidel is king.

Glad it doesn't have balls. Lol. I have this knife, and a bunch of others, including a mini infidel. The only advantage of the infidel is that it can go in either pocket without moving the clip. When it comes to OTF knives, gotta. Say the best firing ones are the Guardian Tactical's followed by the Microtech's. Currently I have like 7 otf knives, and my current fave is the GT Recon Elite. It is a beast!

any problems with it miss firing?? i just got one and itll deploy but not full lock up and the blade will fall back in.. it happens about every 2 deployments... really disappointed with benchmade for this

I like the Autocrat but I wish they would make it with a single edge drop point, not a fan of dagger blade.

this knife is worth about 200 bucks at the most, at this price range your in Troodon territory but half the knife, the Infidel is over priced as well, chisel grind screams budget all the way

They need to call this the Autocrap. Bought one and returned it. Misfired and had that spring “twaaaang” that I expect from Chinese crap. Benchmade missed the mark on this one. I’m not hating on Benchmade, I have an infidel and a mini. Just don’t get this.

so disappointed in the autocrat. absolutely 0 feeling of quality. it rattles like a Chinese made toy and is so dull it wont even cut a hair. I would have been disappointed if I paid 200$ but I paid 425$ for this junk otf. buyers beware!
