I got mine today. My first OTF knife from Benchmaid was the infidel. I’ve been waiting for this knife for a long long time and when I got it today, I opened it up and the first thing that came to my mind was the handle. I don’t know, just thought it felt kinda cheap.. felt kinda like a plastic handle. The more I hold the kindle, it’s growing on me.. and it is SUPER light!!
Definitely a hit, and looks to be well executed. If I was a first responder or military this would be a great bit of kit to add. I suspect that aggressive checkering is going to be a pants destroyer for a lot of people though.
I think it’s going to be fantastic it’s going to feel super light in pocket you can also throw that into a tactical roll as well it’s a win win from what I’m seeing so far!!!!! Stay well out there
Was at the Benchmade factory store the day it dropped. Was watching the last dozen sell like chocolate chip bacon beer hot cakes. Me and my dad both got one. It's definately a fun knife to play with. It doesn't feel like a knife made for hard use, but if you like the look it would be good for display or light use.
I recently went to the factory store the day the taggedout dropped and was going to get one of those and my dad came with to get a fixed blade Adamas but after we held the shootout we both walked out with one!
😂😂😂 it’s hard use my guy lol it has a steel chassis and the CF elite it’s super durable I have a presidio 2 in cf elite and it’s super tough better in my opinion than g10.. all OTF rattle and cheaper than a microtech that has horrible heat treat and their blades chip and look like Chinese knives and are crazy expensive… they also misfire like crazy and I haven’t heard a shootout misfiring 😂 how is that a display knife wtf
Just carry them anyway. I’m not supposed to carry full size autos but I do anyway. As long as you’re not waving the knife around like a lunatic or doing anything that will get you searched you’ll never get caught
@@dualsportedc That would be an option, but EU retailers do not sell OTFs, and US retailers are forbidden to export them (Benchmade policy)... Not to worry however, plentyu of other knives to enjoy!
can you make a video doing an in depth disassembly/ reassembly ? i really want one but i have to know how well that lock up is and how sturdy that plastic is...
@@zachstuff they it will settle down there hot right now!!!!! Looks like it’s going to be a fantastic EDC nice and light slender in the pocket yeah I can see it thank bud talk soon
I was so annoyed: between the time I got the text from BHQ and me clicking the link they were sold out. COME ON!! Guess I’ll just have to pick one up at the company store whenever they have more available. In other news, I picked up a mini Bugout, and I’m loving it!
Just got mine today love it but when I fired it it wouldn’t go all the way and got off track. I oiled it and seemed to be working now better. How is your deployment? I feel like the close has more strength then the fire. Or maybe mine is defective.
I've got the autocrat and the infidel. How's the blade play? My infidel isn't bad but a little loose. I've got a lot of OTFs. Microtech benchmade guardian tactical and a few more but the autocrat is my favorite.
I love mine The only thing I don't like is the blade moves up the 16th of an inch when you apply pressure to the blade pushing down pushing down and then return when you stop pushing that's a little annoying the side to side is excellen Very little play But even my $617 microtech Also moves up half that much The same on the side to side motion this This knife is so light And I'm very happy with the thin sharp blade design I plan on using it I don't have any use for a dagger never stabbed anybody in 58 years
looks like a cool knife but the price just doesn't fit the knife especially with the materials. they even said they used cf elite so that they could "lower" the price. it just doesn't make sense
