Mt Bachelor is hands down the most exciting and interesting ski area in the PWN especially because of the probability of drier snow.

I would like to clarify that Wenatchee does not have an airport in town, it's 15 minutes away at Pangborn Airport, between East Wenatchee and Rock Island. I would also like to mention that Bend Oregon has two great healthcare meccas within 3 hours: Eugene and Portland, while Wenatchee has two great healthcare meccas within 2.5 hours: Seattle and Spokane. I would also like to say that there is NOT an abundance of housing in Wenatchee, and the cost of homes in Wenatchee are slightly higher than homes in Florence, Oregon (right off the surf). From what I gather the traffic congestion in Wenatchee is worse than Bend, while the schools in Wenatchee may be slightly better, but bad nonetheless. Another important factor you didn't cover is the crime rate. Wenatchee has more violent and property crime than Bend and is said to be less friendly.

Bend is a tourism town, Wenatchee is a working town with great recreation all around.

Bend has a shorter growing season, if you are in to gardening, due to elevation... near 3,000' higher than Wenatchee.

Elevation matters! You didn’t even mention Bend’s high elevation makes for longer colder winters. I visited Bend the last of May a few years ago and was greeted with a significant snow storm in town! As far as I’m concerned, that is minus 3 points!

Bend has 400 tech startups. Outside of Pdx, Hillsborough Bend offers great opportunity if you are a software or hardware engineer.

Wenatchee gets way hotter in the summer. It hit 120f a couple of years ago at the end of June. Air/wind is calm and makes it unlivable in the summer.

You should give another point to Bend because the Redmond/Bend airport has flights to several large cities across the country, whereas Wenatchee ONLY has flights to Seattle.
