The story goes forward that between the apes and the human beings have a bomb that can end life on the planet that man did end up ending life on the planet from making the bomb that is what did it when there is know hope left that they made a bomb that can do it that is their answer to everything they can not come up with love has a answer to everything that makes sense
Last time I watched this was in the late 90s. I should probably give it another viewing as my taste in films has changed a lot since then. But I remember liking it for the first half, then kind of getting turned off by the weirdness, and really hated the end. I don't need every movie to have a happy ending, but when they end like that, it makes the whole movie feel rather pointless.
This film for sure gets pretty weird , it helped after I watched the others to make it seem a little less weird and out of place. They def went for strange in this one. Starts out really good though. The fight scene seemed awkward and unnecessary
@@stevegordon5689 When I watched Conquest of Planet of the Apes, it was on TNT Monstervision, which had a host that would talk a little about the movie during commercial breaks. He said the voice over was added last minute because the studio was in a panic that the way the movie ended could get them accused of stoking race war. Apparently, they were pretty unhappy with the movie in general, but they didn't want to sink more money into reshoots, so the voice over was essentially the low cost compromise between the studio and director.
