She also holds a PhD from Cambridge. When she retired from table tennis at 24 nobody could beat her. Even the Chinese male players feared her. Remarkable woman...

did you know that she was only grade 3 when she joined the china national team? she only had education from grade 3. and she managed to hold a PHD, extraordinary

She is absolutely amazing! I still remember that when I was a kid, the whole school pupils were watching Deng playing ping-pong on a small TV in the headteacher's office.
