You seem to be saying it’s good for you but that the benefits have not been proven by studies but nobody really cares about studies. The real proof is how fabulous people feel and all the digestion and health benefits they receive. That’s all that really matters!

Started celery juice about 3 months ago. My labs were improved across the board. My psoriasis completely cleared up along with IBS symptoms. I can only recommend it. Skin cleared up, decreased appetite, more energy. This all happened.

I've been juicing celery for 2 months every morning on an empty stomach. I don't eat or drink anything for about 30-45 minutes. I started drinking celery for digestive issues and for me it has made a big difference. I suffer from IBS and I haven't had an episode since I started. Also, it gives you so much energy and my skin looks flawless. Yep I'm sticking to celery juicing for all the amazing benefits!💪

Yeah but it isn't addressing the cause of your IBS, you have to fix gut, SIBO/dysbiosis, detox etc

@@stephenv3724 I have suffered from IBS for years. Did the whole elimation diet of foods, logging foods that triggered it. Worked on stress (lol) which is part of life. Tried medication that doctors put me on (crap) and all my efforts didn't help. The fact that Celery juice has helped is a plus in my book, When all along a glass of celery Juice was all I needed. :) My day will continue with juicing Celery.

IBS is also a mental emotional issue as well as other pathogens in body so you have to work on both. However, celery juice DOES work on detoxing the system and clearing SIBO etc. It's brilliant for the digestive system and for detoxing the liver. 8 months on it now and it's made a huge difference to IBS and Lyme Disease for me. I feel healthier than I have for years and off all medication. Everything that Anthony William says is working but you have to also cut down on fats, vinegar, up the fruit and veg, reduce meat consumption if you eat meat. It works from personal experience and it has been years since I felt this good.

@@CarolineCousins exactly! One size doesn't fit all. You try everything and do what works for you. Healthy eating, finding ways to release stress. For me is exercise and yoga and hiking. All I can say dealing with IBS for over 20 years on and off, Celery Juice has helped immensely my gut. 👍

@@Briannafrancis-e9g Gallbladder only stores bile, which is made in the liver. The liver still releases bile into the small intestine to aid fat digestion, but I guess without storing it, there maybe isn’t enough bile when you eat really fatty foods.

I agree with you. There would not be a day that Passes without consuming either celery soup or a drink of celery juice. I gym daily and the energy is unbelievable I must admit I got fed up with pulling fibers from between the teeth. At seventy four years I have never felt fitter. No meds at all. no headaches or indigestion. Even chronic back problems seem to have eased off. I'll thank celery even if is not true.

I forgot to mention the eye sight thing. I have found that vision has improved that much that driving is easier without glasses. I believe prices have risen just the same as Apple Cider Vinegar when its benefits were found.

I’ve been drinking the celery juice for 2 months already, it has helped lowering my high colesterol, 5 years in a row the blood work coming with high numbers until now, I do mix it with a beet and an apple for flavor and other benefits, I also take cinnamon and garlic vitamin while drinking it, all I can say is that it makes me feel very healthy. It also helps with the my digestión.

Agreed. Dr.'s disclaim healthy things because more money goes into the pharmaceutical companies. For being such an advanced counrty millions of people are on pills for just about everything. In comparison we have the highest cancer rate and mental illnesses. Depression and anxiety are an epidemic in America. It is very sad. Not all medications are bad but if doctors focused more on healing the body naturally and permanently it would be very beneficial for a lot of people.

Definitely not. The real healing comes from the juice without the fibre. Have a look at Anthony William's new book Celery Juice. He has posted thousands of successful case studies from people like me on Instagram. It's working really well with the juice only and he explains why. Medical research hasnt caught up with it all yet so I understand the reluctance of doctors to support what he says, but as someone who has and is experiencing the benefits I highly recommend the juice only. It works!

If you read Anthony William's book on celery juice he explains why you must have the juice and how the fiber interferes with the benefits of the juice. He also explains why eating a celery stick will not give you the same benefits of the juice. I found the book fascinating and for the last three (3) weeks I have been following the book's advice of drinking 16 ozs of celery juice every morning on an empty stomach (and NOT adding anything like and apple or lemon to it as it interferes with the benefits). In those three weeks the neuropathy pain in my toes has gone from extreme to non-existent. I have tried Lyrica medication for the pain with some success but made me so incredibly dizzy I could hardly walk at times. I thought I would give the celery juice a try and I am glad I did not dismiss it as a fad or a scam. It has helped me immensely.

I have been drinking celery juice for approx. 6 or more months now - EXCELLENT on the digestive track - I had warts inside of my left nostril for YEARS ! AND not sure if it was the celery juice - or the Astragalus I started taking which is approx. 2000 mgs. BUT I have NOOOOOOOOOOOOO warts !!! at all - some times I can feel a itch in my nostril like I did when wart would show itself - BUT nothing since last year (Aug/Sept) !!! IF you drink the celery juice - Try juicing it in a Nutra Ninja ! Put 16ozs of celery and water to the max - the machine grinds up ALL of it just making it a green drink - so I am able to drink ALL of it including the fiber which most ppl have to store for recipes !! GET A NUTRA NINJA if you are going to do this on a daily !! Oh and my moles that I had on my face DRASTICALLY decreased in size as well !! Nasty taste BUT EXCELLENT for you !!!

Any Vegetables eaten Raw or Cooked are Very Good for you. All Fruit is also good for you. Eaten In sensible quantities. every day. Mix up & swap what you eat each day or when you have used up your supply of that fruit or veg. Vary & change to another ? Or have one of each every day maybe. ( Small Fruit & berries =1 cup full. or What you can hold in both hands cupped. Apples Pears, Bananas, Oranges are obviously 1 Fruit. Nature Packages them in correct portion sizes. Eat Salads every day. Vary everything you put in your salad so you don't get bored of the same each day. There are probably over 20 different salad items to mix & match & choose from. ( in the UK ) other places will vary Seasonally. To Get extra Vitamins & Good stuff out of Fruit & veg Juice Your Fruit & veg. If you want to lose Weight, Cut out all WHEAT items from your diet, Bread, Pastry, & other Baked / Bakery items. Inc BEER. Drink Wine or Cider or cut out drinking / Vastly reduce drinking. Have a fruit Juice instead. Snack on Grapes & Fruit while watching TV. Or Even a Raw carrot etc. Cut out all JUNK FOOD.

Wow! I used to live very near to this address you posted. I grew up in Pontiac Mi. Moved to Macomb when I was older, now I live in Texas. I've been drinking an entire picture of celery juice with green apples ginger and cucmber for 2 months now and have lost 20 lbs, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabeties months before this and my body is now no longer insulin resistant. Losing the weight had a lot to do with it and diet changes but overall celery juice itself is something I'll be doing for the rest of my life.

"people are saying" is just about the weakest argument one can make. Is there a "real" study with controls? Over the years there have been so many claims like this as people get their placebo effect involved. Best of luck to all of us, but I would not lean on this method very hard.

People discredit celery juice and love to point out that it came from a "Medium" and not a professional, yet they never reference Anthony directly unless its about him contacting of the spirits. Many people who fail on celery juice, dont actually eliminate the crap theyre eating from their routine, others dont listen to the instructions, and most probably dont buy the book. Funniest of all, Anthony never says this is your one stop shop for all nutrients, he advocates for veganism and vege based, or fruit based diets, and also says fruits are important. Some how in the cross hairs people misunderstood the material. The fiber in celery juice requires more effort and causes a different digestive process, where as juice and waters flush, there is no sugar present in celery juice enough for fiber to counteract so if dietary fiber is necessary, eat your fruit first thing after flushing with the juice. I've done different diets, and it's not that they don't work, but if my digestive track is smashed, my liver is on its limbs, my stomach doesnt produce enough acid, and I have little effective saliva, of course nothing is going to seem like it works and a lot of these health food changes are going to appear as merely trends. Veganism isn't bad at all, but people bash it over the head like its a trophy hunt. If you wiki the nutrient list as well, if videos arent evident, and the testimonials in the comments arent either, do the research. It's not that celery juice has been tested for its benefits in large or long term studies, it hasnt been tested at all for these new "discoveries". The same people who deny celery juice, dont have evidence that proves it doesnt work, just ideology that something so simple stupid couldnt benefit the body effectively. WHAT MAKES IT BELIEVABLE! People still havent looked up colonoscopies when they argue against it, and you have so much mucus like substances and rotting food clinging to your intestine, dr. sebi made note of our mucus gland, and celery is antibacterial.

Allan Taylor but you don’t WANT the fibre with this! He is quiet the specific that the fibre interferes with the therapeutic action of the juice. This is not like juicing fruit or veggies.

Can you share what side effects exactly you are taking about? Also, some specifics might be helpful for everyone like "you're likely to experience side effect "X" if you drink more than 16oz daily" or "even drinking 8oz of celery juice can cause issue "Y" to manifest in those susceptible to condition "Z", most everyone else is likely to be fine however". This is much more helpful information. Definitely appreciate it if you'd share! Thanks!

If you don't have a juicer, but want to try making fresh juice, you can use a food processor or your blender with added water is a second alternative. Put the ground up pulp in a fine mesh nylon bag, or wrap in canvas. Squeeze over a bowl to create juice. Eating celery - chewing and swallowing the juice - helped me get off Prevacid decades ago. Then I learned how to eat to solve my GERD problem.

I am on day 4 of celery juice, I feel quite refreshed and bowel movements are something on another level haha I am usually always craving for chocolate, but for the last 4 days I havent touched one, although we have so much in the fridge. Not sure if it's celery or it's me telling myself to stop it at least when I'm committed to this lol ONE QUESTION - for how long should we do this kind of cleanse? I dont think I can make it a lifetime, but usually how long is a decent cycle to take a break, and then come back? I see people do 7 days, 14 days, but how long is good enough to reach the maximum benefits yet not to get "too used" to it and not seeing as much benefits as before?

Ah well, we’ll see. I just started this week and I’m on day 3. I’ve also cut out a lot of foods for the time being that can cause people problems and am eating vegan for now. I’m trying to help solve some digestive issues. So far I can say that I don’t miss the junky foods as much as I thought and I’m not as exhausted. But that might also be due to my feeling hopeful and less stressed and depressed. Whatever works I say. Now off to do some yoga.

I was not aware of the celery craze however I starting eating it last week as part of my salad...i honestly noticed a difference with my digestion that immediately stood out because i have gall bladder issues. Since then i feel completely healed of gall bladder issues

I am not a doctor so I may be wrong. But I am starting to think that juices are not good for your health. The reason is: you should not eat TOO MUCH, TOO FAST. By making your food into a juice and drinking it, you are swallowing a large amount of food too much, too fast. The digestion starts at the mouth, with the saliva. You should chew slowly and deliberately to give time for the saliva to digest the food. When you finally swallow the food, it is already half-digested, making it easier for the stomach and intestines to finish the digestion. That is why most doctors tell you not to eat too much, too fast, and to chew slowly and thoroughly. When you make your food into a juice and drink it, you are skipping completely the chewing phase. You are sending a large amount of undigested food directly into your stomach, putting enormous pressure to your stomach. Your stomach will not be able to cope with the demand, and undigested food may end up reaching your intestines, causing problems like diarrhea. You can drink water, or milk, or tea, but not your food. You should not drink your food. You should sit down, take your time, and eat your breakfast slowly and calmly, enjoying the taste of the food. You should not drink your breakfast in a few seconds. And I am saying this to all kinds of juice, not just celery juice, but also orange juice, apple juice, etc. If your lifestyle is such that you don't have time to eat your meals slowly, I think you should really reconsider your priorities in life! Food is DELICIOUS! Eating is one of the best pleasures in life! Some people may like food more than sex! Nobody wants to have sex for just a few seconds! Why do you want to swallow your breakfast in just a few seconds? Why not enjoy your food, take each bite slowly, enjoying the taste of good food? Why live your life without enjoying one of the best pleasures life has to offer? If you don't have time to enjoy eating, I think your priorities in life are completely screwed up.

While a cleansing diet I ate half a kilo of celery one day. The next day my face (lips and eyes) were swollen and I looked deformed. I am not sure wether I have celery allergy. Do you think its safer to drink the juice rather than the whole plant?

Ok, so I'm getting worried about everything I drink in the morning while fasting. I have 2 tbs of ACV in 8oz of water and then a black coffee. If I add celery juice to this, will it break my fast? How do I know if my fast is broken or not?

The only way to tell for sure if I breaks your fast is to test your blood glucose before and 45-60 minutes after the celery juice. One run of my tests showed that one cup didn't break my fast, but the next days test did.

May be there is no scientific proof for it, but a kind of experiemental proof for the effect of celery juice and/or a celery-smoothie ( with the fiber in it). If I separate the juice I use the fiber in the next smoothie. From the taste I assume that is has bitter substances inherent which could explain the effect of pure celery-juice on the intestine. It's the whole food that seems to make it. Or how do you want to extract the postassium out of it to lower the blood pressure? If you take postassium separated you habe to observe how much you take in order to not get out of balance with other electrolytes. A whole food - celery oder any other fruit or vegetable has much more in it than science can proof true because science is limited to what they are looking and asking for and there might be much more do discover what we do not know today.

This is directed at all of those who HAVE done the celery challenge and have received some positive benefit from it. I am going to give it a try, but just for 7 (seven) days. As a cleanse. Then in about six months do it again for another 7 (seven) days for another cleanse. And so on. I wonder if that will approximate the benefit of celery juicing constantly?

How fat soluble vitamins absorbs from vegetable juices like celery juice since in the vegetable juices there are no fats?? The celery juice contains a lot of vitamin A but without fat how can it be absorbed since in nature no one puts fat in their vegetable juice?

Have u ever heard of Dan McDonald he calls himself Dan the man. Because of him I understand the importance of juicing fruits and vegetables. There's a BIG difference in juicing rather than getting a vitamix and blending it all up. Dan McDonald talks real good about it.

Can you easily eat a whole bunch of Celery? You can easily drink the juice of a whole bunch and many people are drinking half a litre each day. That is IMO the biggest benefit, you can consume so much more when it is juiced. With many other juices this would be a bad thing but because Celery juice is so low in sugar, net carbs and calories juicing is a great way to consume celery and really boost your potassium intake. Negatives to consider, celery is expensive and on the dirty dozen so you should be consuming organic celery.

A wise old man sold me a blender in 1964 at the Pomona Fair. He was wise and I was just a very young lady, but what he said sold me on juicing. In his make shift manual he had celery juice as one of his favorite for the nervous system and many other benefits. He just blended one or two cups in a base of water or pineapple juice. He also said that fruit was our candy.

It is not meant to replace normal fluid consumption. Celery juice is hydrating so it wasn't the celery juice that dehydrated you.

I was told by a cousin that doing celery juice in the morning will lower my triglycerides, is there evidence to show that?
