And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the midst of the street thereof. And on this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve manner of fruits, yielding its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

It has been fantastic for regulating my cycle and preventing PMS symptoms. I drink it in a dried tea form every other morning, alternating with a dandelion root and lemon daily detox tea. So happy to hear it also has detox, immune, vitamin and mineral benefits as well! Thanks for the video

I started using red raspberry leaves on a more regular basis in 2012. Prior to that, I had really heavy periods with really bad cramps. My OB/GYN at the time prescribed me to a low estrogen birth control pill. As a result, I didn't have a cycle for two years and that became a concern for me. When I asked the doctor about it and was told that I was fine, my next thought was, "You're a guy--so you have no first hand experience with this.". So I took myself off of the pill and started on drinking a one quart red raspberry leaf infusion a day. Within that month, my period came back--and came back with a vengeance in terms of flow and cramps. I continued drinking the daily infusions and the next month, my flow was lighter and my cramps weren't so bad. If anything, it felt like mere discomfort or pressure. I haven't taken my daily infusions lately but this video may inspire me to do so once again. I now use a red raspberry tincture that I made when I'm on my cycle and feel cramps and it works instantly. Red raspberry leaf is wonderful and I tell everyone about it--especially those who have daughters.

Oh, i may have to try this as an infusion. Once i turned 30, i started to use pads because my cramps were so unbearable and my flow was so heavy. Since then, my period is only 3½ to 4 days, and i do still have cramps, but nowhere as bad. But, sometimes it's late or early, and sometimes my cramps do come back bad, just not each month like before, so, better, but still some issues. But, im also looking into having another child soon, so anything that'll help with that, I'm gonna try because I'm almost 33 now and i know it's gonna be more difficult. Thanks for your story!

I don’t grow raspberries or lettuces. My raspberry leaf is all purchased and used in tea form. Love it. Will grow raspberries eventually. I also purchase organic mixed greens weekly in a big plastic box. Can’t possibly eat them all, so dehydrate at least 1/2 and flake into jars and sprinkle on most everything. Especially good on eggs. Also feed to dog daily. Those plastic boxes are great little greenhouses for sprouts, or starting seeds. While I dislike plastic, I dislike it less if I can reuse it multiple times. 🤷‍♀️

I’ve been foraging my own red raspberry leaf to make teas and infusions for the last couple of years, but last week my granddaughter started her period, my daughter went into labor, and delivered her baby, and started breast-feeding, and I had some premenopausal stuff going on, and so I finally just bought a big bag of it and we’ve been living on this for a week, lol. And we all live together in the same house. 😅 The funny part is, all of this started my other daughter on her period a week early. Your timing was perfect for this video.

I don't powder herbs until I'm ready to actually use it. Once you powder a dried herb, it starts to oxidize, which is not what you want. I prefer to keep leaves and flowers as whole as possible when dried. Then crumble or powder them at the time of use. Just like coffee or flax seed or any seed, actually. Same with roots and barks, unless I'm making a decoction or a long-soak tincture. Although, I would powder them for an oxymel but I don't strain oxymels.
@RainCountryHomestead
@RainCountryHomestead 2 месяца назад
I almost never powder my herbs but rather crumble them. Vacuum sealing and storing in a dark location will stave off oxidation so no need for me to waste precious space by keeping them in their whole form
