The Photonic devices are not for human use. As we explain in the video, humans and pets use red light devices very differently. For example, humans use it on their bare skin, while pets have fur that the light has to penetrate through. I very much appreciate this discussion I by serendipity found. I am only about to buy a panel for myself. However i did wonder about pets. Great to have found this now, considering my frail cat. Question I ponder that it is a lot of money for my frlines NOT using it. I started with a normal heating pad, only occasionally they sit on it. Question: How could I acertain they will use it as obviously benefits are not hsppening with just a one off or occasional laying on. Putting a device on top they would just move away

I recommend slowly getting your cats used to the Red Light Therapy device, perhaps you can use positive reinforcement, giving them lots of treats when they lay on the device, or when you place it over them. For our dog, we place the device on her while she is sleeping. It is no problem at all. She gladly lets us lay the device over her and she usually stays in place.
I bought a red light therapy for myself it was a red light therapy belt I got off Amazon I love it it has the 850 and the 660 nm. My jack Russell loves it and I've noticed that she seems to have less pain because of the look on her face and she seems to be at peace and a lot more relaxed just overall happier so I know it's working she breathes a lot better as well

Our dog does not have arthritis, so I won't be able to comment on that through personal experience but it definitely helps when we used it on her IVDD injury and more recently on a soft tissue injury on her paw. She calms down quickly. However, studies show that Red Light Therapy including Infrared light can reduce pain and arthritis pain.
