Hey sis. Beautiful channel you have. Yes I was one of those who thought moving to regional area was getting lost in the desert 😂. Turned out to be the best decision ever 💯. I left Sydney crying I won’t be able to find a job here but actually got the highest paying job with no stress. Sometimes it’s good to take that risk.

Thanks for the great information, we're currently applying for 491 with my partner and daughter, I'm currently 41 and wanted to know if after the 5 years of temporary residence the PR is something that is granted regardless of my age at the time these years have elapsed. Cheers from Argentina!

Hi Tracy, I have a link in the description box for the 491 visa. You can read up on all its requirements. If you come in through studies (first of all, consider studying in a regional area) but you can apply for the 491 when you complete your studies.

Hi Oluwafemi, if you are referring to the 485 visa, it does not allow sponsorship. Family members can be included in the visa application but sponsorship of other family members is not available on that visa after it is granted.

Please look at the ACWA process for skills assessment, or consider employer sponsorship in regional areas. As a permanent resident anywhere (not only in Australia) you still need to get a visa to be granted entry into other countries. It is only after you become a citizen that you may be visa-exempt to certain countries including the UK, US and Canada. However, it can certainly work in your favour if you show that you are a permanent resident of Australia
