Anything that free up air flow will improve power on this bike, it is fuel injected and the computer will adjust for the extra air, so no worrying about running too lean. Water ingress is a valid point but not too much of an issue the way it was deisgned by the manufacture was to reulduce sound so win win in removing it. Now free flow the exhaust, (remove cat) add bigger cam and have it mapped 👌 you can squeeze 14bhp out of these and improve torque accross the range
In theory it is not supposed to improve power or speed.. but I tried it and gotta say it feels a lot better. Not sure about the speed, but I feel it is more responsive to throttle and it feels more relaxed when going up a hill Thanks for the tip
The engineers that designed that had a certain goal in mind. These guys are pretty good at what they do. Maybe disconnect the battery for 30 seconds before you do that. So when you restart the bike the computer adjusts to the mid accordingly. I may be crazy but, I may be crazy
That plastic thing is used to modify the speed of the air that go inside the engine if you remove it you loose power because the air get inside the engine at a lower speed, but you win a lot of sound and the power you loose is not too much i think that max you can loose 1hp or much less
You can also unscrew those 4 screws and it take the other part out too it makes it a little louder than the one in this vid I just tried both ways good vid man!
i found out that when you remove this thing (i have the same bike) there is a possibility that water from rain or cleaning gets into the air intake... the water flows under the seat > over the tank > onto the frame > into the airbox. Please keep an eye out on this
I Heard That it Could be Bad for the Engine because the settings of the Engine Are for Using this Thing. To much air means Less gasoline and the Engine is getting to hot.
Tengo la duda si esto afecta a la mezcla de aire y combustible con el ralentí de la moto , lo estoy probando y en cierto punto es cierto que la moto va menos forzada en altas
Se supone que la centralita cada 100 km regula parámetros y corrige esas cosas, y a mayor flujo, mas oxigeno y mejor combustión además; ya de por si viene gorda de gasolina, no hay problema ninguno, al contrario.
Bro you can get those belly pans/bottom cowl around front of the engine off of like a lexmoto venom or something.. a lot of those other Chinese brand 125s have a bottom cowl plastic thing, I’m almost sure it’s the venoms but don’t quote me on that!
Eso sirve para que suene a más moto, y yasta así de simple, el título solo es gancho, pero igualmente si que se nota la moto mas desahogada, y recuerda que esa tontería, es de una mini moto de juguete por que es lo que es. TMB está el 90% de los que os llamáis moteros que estáis le voy a poner un escape a la moto para que suene más... Más a lata no? Por que el sonido bronco lo suelta por la admisión o carburador..
