This goes beyond the terms of a general yacht, truly a masterpiece, incredible workmanship.

I certainly was not expecting that. The design is incredible, almost 400GT for a vessel of its size, AWOL is also a 37 meter at a little over 300GT. The design looks incredible, would love to have a tour once it’s built. Would be interesting to see how they dealt with stability changes from adding the extra deck. Absolutely superlative presentation, the precision of the narrative, the excitement in his voice combined with a sublime VR graphic simulation makes his presentation masterpieces in themselves.

Great video, David. Wonderful production values. As a yacht lover since about the sixth grade (and as someone who drew yacht profiles in class when he was supposed to be doing his schoolwork), I'd love to see some interviews with yacht designers, both the famous and the up and comers. Jon Bannenberg was my idol back then, and in many ways, he still is.

As an architect I can say that is great optimization of volume/space for a yacht that size! Innovative. Great job! 👍

I would just like to say that out of all of the folks doing yacht presentations, yours are the most most exciting and pleasurable to watch. This boat however is probably one of the best designs that I've ever seen. I keep going over all of the other yachts while imagining that I could ever afford to just live and travel this way, and this boat just makes my imagination run wild. I never say never, and when such an opportunity to buy a yacht comes into play for me, you'll be the man to contact.

I would not call a boat an "asset" since they almost always go down in value over time.

probably REALLY pricey for a 37m... A NEW Benetti 40m OASIS is $21M so I'd assume this boat is right under $20M

Looks so much better on the inside, that the outside. It looks short, stubby and tugboatish on the outside. The inside is awesome. I guess I would have to get used to this (outside) new design.

Lovely design David. But it seems like they designed an explorer yacht more for the Med or Caribbean. Lots of sunning space. Plus a bunch of out door seating. Kind of pointless in the colder, rougher climates. Lovely looking boat though. The see through deck is amazing.

Great video but why no info on price, range & other capabilities? Surely these are some of the first things of interest in an explorer yacht. Another obvious concern with this design is stability - it would be nice to address possible concerns rather than ignoring them. It would make for a more well rounded and balanced review. Otherwise great work.

Great design, engineering & thought processes all around for a 37m. Definitely an option to consider in the future, but the bow to hull profile looks like a tug boat. Heesen has excellent bow line designs.

Looks really nice, but theres going to be a big stability issue with such a high centre of gravity, they may try to counter that with more ballast but that increases draft. If your prone to sea sickness, that sun deck would be a nightmare even in light seas.

Hey David, great video as always, I'm a big fan of your work. This is an amazing Yacht, but I googled its price, and it sits around 17-20mm Euros, for that price, you can get a 45-50 meter yacht(or bigger if you choose a used yacht). Doesn't that defeat the purpose of adding more space in a smaller yacht? I mean, if the price is close to 20 million, there are many bigger options in that range... I'd like to hear your opinion on that.

It's going to need rock steady stabilizers with it being so top-heavy. Beautiful layout and style though.

There isn't an explorer yacht being built anywhere in the world that even comes close to this boat! First off, you have an entire deck dedicated to the crew, the master suite isn't located on the primary deck in front of the galley and dining area like it is on pretty much every other explorer yacht there is; instead you have a full guest deck, bow to stern with a view throughout! The veranda behind the most beautiful bridge I have ever seen is exquisite... and back to the uncluttered bridge, there is no cafeteria style booth located anywhere therein... it's perfect!

Is there a reason to stay within that particular 36.5m by 8.6m footprint? Regulation I suppose, but I couldn't find anything about staying under 120 ft. Personally, I'd love to have two more meters in the garage so I could carry an Icon A5 and a submarine! Otherwise, absolutely superb layout. Maybe a little more fold-outs at the beach club the way Benetti does so well wouldn't hurt either.

My father always told me. If you don't have a captain or crew for your yacht, what are you. A HUGE TOY BOAT BOBBING AROUND IN A GIANT BATHTUB ALL BY YOURSELF.

I'm surprised with such an advanced propulsion system that its range is relatively low, with 70,000 litres of fuel it only has a range of 5000nm, This does not sound very advanced....., Larger yachts with similar fuel amounts have over 7,000 nautical mile range.

Damn! Just as I thought I had narrowed my choice to a Bering or a CdM, this one comes along. Personally, I would not want a crew, but the "trouble & strife" has made it clear "... there is no-way I'm allowing you to navigate and I'm not doing the cooking ...". Any idea of the ball-park asking price?

This is an extraordinary video; am laughing at absolutely obvious and honest comments below - but did you mention a price tag. A 37-m boat actually sounds like a $20-million possibility? Or am I NZ south of reality here?

Where are the full solar powered electric or hybrid earthship yachts? Self sustaining like a land earthship, check out michael reynolds work, but in yacht form at sea?? Makes no sense, it would be close to ultimate luxury with what we know today. Able to live off grid off shore for life. Well im sure there are hidden technologies to us, but still... Make it happen, yacht architects and innovators! 😁

The engineering is excellent. I do however perceive her as if she was a longer, more, ehm, elegant yacht once but ran into a cliff a few times too many. Personally, I really hope they will have this specific design team make something in the 45-60m range. The result could be stunning. The crew accommodations really need special applause. As a former military man, I know that the smallest comfort can make life so much better for the crew.

Nope. It's still evolutionary. None of that technology was produced yesteryear. It took decades to improve upon, and thus is a culmination of hundreds of thousands of research-years and engineering effort to arrive at the masterpiece you now visualize. If anything were to be revolutionary, it would have sported a micro nuclear fusion power plant. Now that would most definitely be a revolutionary change in technological innovation and advancement.

Nice 3D graphics but whats the range? That’s probably the most important piece of information to know when considering an explorer yacht and you didn’t think to include it! More facts please rather than just sales hype.

Long range vessel, not fitted with a proper chair on the bridge for the person(s) in charge of the watch. Boat typically designed by someone who has great drawing skills (but not really a pretty boat if you ask me), and not even the basic understanding of seamanship skills...

Explorer Yacht.. is nothing more than marketing nonsense to upsell a Vessel to people into think they need to buy a certain type of vessel .. when solo sailors have transversed around the world , And those who have sailed the sea's discovered all those places, passages named after those who discovered them .. .. if they hadn't taken to the sea to discover the new world , Oceans etc . What is the intended price point of that Model ? Is it cheaper than Nordhavn or Fleming 65 ?

Are there any actually built Beyond 37m out there? I’d love to see the finished product. This would be my dream yacht.

I’ve started looking at yachts to serve both as business at fiber optic landing locations where we will be doing engineering for executive engineers and other personal needs. This includes server room and electrical requirements for it.

4 decks!!!! wow what a volume to size and most likely price ration. Personally not a fan of explorer yachts but this one has pushed me over the 'edge'. I love the open areas and the light coming in. Also love the proper crew area as I believe a happy crew creates a happy yacht.
