In chandralayout, vijayangar, bangalore, where I live, there is dwarknath Nagar, which comes under BDA 6 (1). The Area is filled with illegal bldgs, houses and apartments. Both BBMP and BDA are keeping quiet. Dwarknath Nagar has 3 roads and 4 crosses.
The blind rush to invest in property enables unscrupulous builders to construct sub-standard structures. The government officials are definitely hand-in-glove with these builders as one cannot put up TWO more floors without drawing attention bof the authorities.
Where I live dozens of buildings are constructed with 5 or 6 floors though only 3 floors is allowed. Blatant corruption is the cause of these building collapses and many other problems the city is having. FIrst the top officials and even BBMP commissioner, minister in charge should be held responsible for allowing the illegal constructions. Otherwise corruption will go on and more disasters will happen. It is not that they are not aware this illegal construction was happening. The moment you dump some building materials they will come immediately to demand money.
Why was 7 floors built in such a place? Was officials sleeping,the sanction approval authorities didn't have time to check after taking bribe from owner, this is what is as usual in Bangalore, no reporters talks about those?????????? majority residential buildings are more than approved floors means more bribe🤗🤗🤗🤗 , Substandard quality materials used, then why are they allowed for selling?....🤔 Let's blame rain that is pouring once in blue moon in densely populated Bangalore city with no proper water facility.
Who will answer to the kins of deceased? What compensation will be provided? Who will take care of their family? And all these happening under the nose of government in the capital city
