Jóhan Jóhansson is one of my top favorite composers and may he Rest In Peace. As said previously, I don’t think the score to Sicario gets the kind of recognition it deserves.

I frequent Mexico a lot; I love the country and I love her people, so the first Sicario hit me right in my heart. I know it goes on. I also know that there is no easy solution. Brolin's character was right - as long as 20% of America keeps snorting the white stuff....

This whole series is the huge hit due to one man, Benicio Del Toro. An incredible actor who has mastered his craft and pulls you in with every word he speaks. To me this movie is the success largely because of Benny, albeit the rest are awesome as well, it just would not be the draw that it is without Benny. Keep giving us more Benny. We can not wait for a third installment, and my guess is you will train this young man who thought he killed you, to take your position in the future. But you are the man and it is my opinion that an OSCAR should be in your hands easily. Wake up HOLLYWOOD! You have one of the greatest actors who has mastered the craft of making the viewer BELIEVE what he is seeing, is actually occurring. OUTSTANDING!

For me one of the greatest actors of all time. I do really appreciate his performances, and I wish a knew more of him. He deserves to be in greater rolls but whenever he is a movie I am stuck with his great ability and acting skills. As an acto from 1 to 10 he is in the 100 category.

The writer of the new movie is Taylor Sheridan. Look that guy up...holy hell what movies he makes. Wind River for example, man....been months since i saw it but still thinking about how good it was. He is able to create these magic atmospheres with breathtaking shots combined with really beatiful music. He alone is a reason to watch this movie.

This interview would have been a lot more interesting if Meyers hadn't come up with such inane questions - for example, at 2:38 he asks if Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers and Star Wars are the sorts of movie that Del Toro would have enjoyed as a kid. Well, duh - of course they are. Even Del Toro seems momentarily taken aback and embarrassed by what a stupid question that is. I get the sense that Meyers hasn't done his research and is just trying to wing it. I've loved Benicio del Toro since he played Fenster in The Usual Suspects - such a memorable and hilarious character. Kind of cool, kind of camp, and with that weirdly dislocated way of moving - really unique. The way people can't understand what he's saying makes for some of that film's greatest exchanges.

Watching this interview the day before soledad (see what i did there?) Original sicario is one of my fav movies of all time. But as with Del Torro, I'm sceptical with this sequel as 2 of the most important factors of the original are missing: the legendary director and cinematographer (not to mention the female actor). They were all revolutionary filmmakers. I don't know about this soledad but it feels hollywoody now - not a good sign. Like the producers said after the success: "Yeah let's make it bigger," but some of the key players were not in. I guess i'll find out on "the day".

So, I saw this movie and as expected, it's hollywoody. You can feel people are acting. There are more downtimes here (aka boring) than the first film, which had very few to almost zero. A child roller coaster ride this time. The only thing that gripped me was the last scene. No edge-of-the-seat moments. Even the soundtracks had little impact on my emotions. Sicario 1's soundtracks are home-runs. This movie falls into the inherent sequel curse. All that said, still a good movie. Good things are - Benicio and Josh still carries the story, which is the other good thing, though nuances from the original are no longer there.

He is a very good looking man but there is something wrong with his haircut. With a different hairstyle, he would look so much better. In Sicario he is very attractive.

What he should have said: "Hey remember how the first movie was so good? Well this time we turned it into a cliché 'Guy is supposed to kill the girl and doesn't' hackfest. Even though that storyline has been done almost every year since 1985 we thought we'd still be able to make a bunch of cash doing it anyway so hear you go!" Sicario deserved better smh
