Lucy takes a tour of the campsites along the Rincon and the bars of that area and chats with Happy Days Graham about Villamar campsite / thebenidormenthusiast #benidorm #spain #spainholidays
Loved that TV show about retired Brits living the life in the camp sites in Benidorm. What it showed is that its better to be retired in the sun having a good time than being stuck in a care home. The people on the show had a real zest for life and enjoying every minute.
Nic Ted .....check out the final Brexit agreements before selling your house......moving to Spain may not be as straightforward as you think ( or once was.).......and there alternatives to living in a caravan which is not recommended for those addicted to the comforts in life......but if you do decide, El Raco is the best camp site in Benidorm by far....
I would seriously wait my friend until any deal is struck with the EU , or Not, over a trade deal before I made the permanent move to Spain. As an English man, I also planned to retire to Spain on a caravan park but decided instead to now remain in the UK then live in tenerife for 3 months every winter, nice and cheap and beast decision I made
@@sparkesman1980 No worries I just liked the TV show. I have lived in Spain for 15 years and have all my documents .My advice would be for anyone to make the move now rather than later as it will be more difficult to become a resident with more red tape. Thanks for your concern and whatever you decide best of luck.
Hi Nic, it was because of "bargain loving brits" programme i visited December 2018. We stayed in a bungalow at Camping Benidorm, next to Villamar. I loved it, it is a lot smaller than Villamar, we knew so many after first couple of days, SAr and Sunday. Had plans to move there permanently 2021 but with covid and brexit have to wait to see what is possible. For now just keep looking at my photos in hope.
Do I look like I give a fuck. Sorry, I'm not saying this, it's what dilligaf means. I'm watching Graham Happy Days on TV, in Scotland right now. Great video. :)
Yes I think we would all love to go BUT what about family and you home what you have worked all your life for might be a better idea to just go for a month or two
We made the move to the sun, and Yeeks! Can be so cold in the winter! There is a very special climate up there in Benidorm. It’s where Spain pokes itself out into the med, and Benidorm wraps it self round with mountains, and turns to face the sea. Even when the thermometer doesn’t show it, it feels so much warmer there. It’s position also takes away the sting of those really hot summer days. I think it’s pretty unique in Spain, so don’t expect the rest of Spain to be the same! You will need deep pockets for a house around there, hence the popularity of the campsite living, plus you have all the fun on your doorstep. When you move an hour inland, the temperatures drop down about seven degrees colder at night, not good when the nights are long. The houses aimed at the Northern Europeans inland are designed for the coast, so keeping warm can be challenging. When you are looking at that bargain 45 minutes from the beach, think of it being 7 degrees colder in the winter! The bit they don’t tell you on TV.
What a great video Lucy the campsites are lovely and the entertainment they have I know people who are on them they love it there benidorm has got more than you think it caters for everyone doesn't it what a wonderful place it is do you remember that program wish you were here well that's what all us Brits wish we were there so don't worry we will be back love joyx

Thank's Lucy another great video. My friend has a casa on a campsite near benidorm which I visited last December. It was amazing. Loads there and so friendly as people stay there all year round, bar and restaurant was very reasonably priced too. Had a great time. Would definitely recommended.

Try changing the titles of your videos so viewers know what the video is about. or at least put the date at the end of the title so viewers know its a new vid

@@LucyYoungTBE Me ha hecho mucha ilusión que me hayas contestado. Espero que esto del coronavirus pase pronto y puedas disfrutar a tope de tu ciudad favorita. I was very happy to hear your answer. I hope this coronavirus thing passes soon and you can enjoy your favorite city to the fullest.
I'm sure there are, if you pay for the pitch surely it's up to you if you want to put a tent or a can on it? you'd be better contacting the sites for clarification.
How things have changed in 2022..spanish really don't want the brits back hence so many rule changes.. remember that £100 quid a day needed for each day of your stay.. 90 days max.. buying a caravan comes with extortionate handover fees,, tourist taxes.. camping ownership has been destroyed by the Spanish government.. Goodbye Spain... hello Portugal.... no penalty fees
