Hi Lucy, just watched your latest brilliant vlog, you made me and the mrs jump up in excitement at being at RH Princesa, then Sarah's comments in the top right hand corner appeared!!We are coming out to stay at the Princesa next Friday, and of course a visit to Winners, can't wait, Sarah and Steve xx
I’d highly recommend Centro Mar bang centre of the old town, get a sea view and you get a perfect view and it’s very quiet. Been 3 times and will always go back.
Great video thanks I've just booked up the RH princesca for a week for paddy's day next year i visited benidorm for a day at the beginning of February wilst visting alcantie for a a few days I think I've already caught the benidorm bug
Hi Lucy we stay at the Agua every october so been there 7 times back there this october. Must say im gobsmacked the food is shite the entertainment is shite and the pool is diseased but we love it. Rock on
I have been 20 times and each time try somewhere different. Stayed in the Avenida twice but it’s the only place. I try and stay in different areas each time and each time I discover somewhere new 😊 xx
Stayed in the RH Royal a few times returning again soon. Pool area is good, enjoy the food staff are great nice location and all rooms have balconies. The Avenida is in a great location stayed there many times but one side has no balconies faces an apartment block makes the room dark. The dining area needs changing as it doesn’t work well when busy.
Stayed in Victoria last year and all the family loved it. Food was great and even though it was the end of June it wasnt too busy and no queues for food and bar.
I've stayed twice at the agua azul and really liked it..stayed at the sandos monaco in jan, which was really nice, but looking to book the agua azul for later this year, the location is better for me i think. Useful video to get otehr ideas too!
Thanks for all the great stuff you share with us Lucy , we are over on Friday for Paddy's day , can you tell us what's the weather due to be like for the 17th and the week beyond, as we are getting different forecasts on various apps .
I stay in Aqua Azul hotel last September what a Difference compared with other hotels this is my favourite hotel very modern hotel spacious Rooms friendly staff good food great Location to the old town
Just returned home from a week at the RH Victoria, it’s a great hotel, fantastic staff and quality food. Location is excellent, only (minor) criticism would be lift waiting times.
Hi Lucy we were in the RH Corona last week just on the Poniente side of the old town. We had a great time, all the staff were very friendly, food really good and great entertainment in the evenings. The rooms are spacious and beds very comfy.
I am at the victoria at the moment. Sitting on balcony on 11th floor enjoying the sunshine and views. Well done to rh. All great hotels. And also to you. A very interesting video.
Hi Lucy, fab video. Recognised all of these just from the pools!! Have stayed in all of the RH ones you mentioned and the Primavera before the upgrade. Booked for Victoria again in September. Rooms are huge and views from top few floors are fantastic. Not too far from Winners either - see you in September x
Hey Lucy, We are over for Easter staying at the queens. We normally stay at the Santos Monaco. Just finalised flights and we can’t wait to get over there. Not been since 2018! Hope you’re well and we might see you over the Easter break
Hi Lucy hope you and your partner are well my partner and I just love the channel unfortunately I have not had a Holiday since before civic as I am a theatre nurse I've missed my 60th birthday 2025 October is me and my partners first time away we are looking at the Royal hotel which had are you working at so I can buy you a drink to say thank you for keeping Benidorm slice as if we were there xxx
For me and my wife - has to be Hotel Fetiché. No balcony, no pool - but smack dab in the center of the Old Town, just 15 meters walk from the entrance to the two main pedestrian areas in the Old Town. The Suites on the upper levels are to die for, the atmosphere is super-relaxing, the staff is fantastic. No pool - 2 minutes relaxed walk to the start of Levante Beach. No balcony - open windows on either side of the ginormous room and just enjoy the breeze without having to use the AC. Any way, one mostly sit on the balcony to look at the buzzing life in the Old Town. Go out of the hotel instead and ENJOY the buzzing life first hand. Oh - did I mention that it is reasonable? A veritable steal for the money we paid. If they haven't skimped on maintenance and changed all the staff - we will definitely be back in a Hotel Fetiché Suite as SOON as our wallets allow. We love Benidorm and we certainly loved Hotel Fetiché 💕
I'm really wanting to go back to Benidorm...went to the Hotel Perla in 1970...I was 10, and have so many happy memories. Now that I'm an old fogey, I can't cope with noise late at night as I used to do, and it's the only thing that stops me booking a week there. Do you think I'm over fretting ? 🤔 ...anyway, great vlog 🙏👍😎
Me and my best friend stayed for two weeks at Hotel Perla in august 1987. We deserved a break after 12 years of school. It was so utterly brilliant being in Beni, and we liked Hotel Perla. It was my very first trip to a country outside of Scandinavia, us both being from Norway. And the experience being in Benidorm..... took an even more special significance to me. 18 months later my best friend crashed with his motorbike, and sustained a broken back which would have left him in a wheelchair. As that wasn't enough..... his helmet fell off and he smashed both sides of his head on the concrete and big rocks beside the road. He spent two years in a coma, and never woke up..... his girlfriend was pregnant with a girl. Faith would have it that many years later my sister wanted me to accompany her family to L'Alfaz Del Pi outside of Benidorm. She was gathering strength from brain cancer, and asked me to help activate her kids. They then decided to move to L'Alfaz, and stayed for a few years. She then got breast cancer, that spread and took her life two years later. I have been to the area 12-15 times, for good and bad. For good - I got engaged in Benidorm nine months after meeting my wife in Norway. The honeymoon was a year later - in Benidorm 😊 We don't feel done with Benidorm yet, not by a mile. We will keep coming whenever our economy allows - it's been 6 long years since now. Our dream - buy a little apartment, to stay in during summer. And to live full-time in Benidorm as pensioners. I love this city so much 💕💕💕
Hi Lucy we stayed in the Agua Azul in January for 10 nights and we are back again in August for 2 weeks just love the hotel and the staff are fantastic and the food is amazing it's a little gem in the heart of benidorm 😊
Primavera was the only one I thought looked any good, I just returned from Benidorm and I think the view of 4-star hotels is very different from other places. This is more than made up for IMO with the super cheap prices when you are out and about. I love the old town, you can keep the strip, not for me but I can see why others like the madness and chaos 🙂
Hi hubby and i love ur video s ,we ve never been to Benidorm but it s lookingbery tempting for next year , can u recommend any sc apartment s in old town near beach ,bars etc also whats weather like april /may
Thanks for sharing these ❤ We looked at a few of the RH group of hotels for our trip last March, but the height of some of them would have proved a bit difficult for one of our group at the time. Will certainly be taking a closer look for our future trips to Benidorm 👌
@@fredscratchet1355 I think it was the Royal which came up that we preferred but the search we used didn't give them all with the operator we were looking to book with. The Royal is the one that has a big tall tower, if I recall correctly.... it just wouldn't have suited one of our group and as we needed to book a few rooms I didn't want to be having to try and sort out floors to suit everyone. We will look at one definitely if it's just me and my partner though.
Said it on another video.. I go to magaluf, and you get what you make of it... You can go cheap and cheerful or can spend a bit more and have a bit of luxury.. doesn't mean you can't party. ❤
I stayed in Aqua Azul last year I coming back to this hotel again in September very modern hotel good food spacious room’s friendly staff I Recommend it to everyone I love it
Hi Lucy, I'm going to the calypso hotel next month and I've been told there's major construction next door, can you do a video to show the extent of disruption so I can decide if I need to go to another hotel ,thanks❤
RH Princesa, I've been there twice . It's a beautiful hotel, I'm hoping to go there in October. I go all inclusive as it's a fantastic option, the staff are friendly and welcoming the food is excellent. My favourite hotel. ❤
Hi Lucy Tam from Bathgate here stayed in aqua azul last March great hotel also stayed in princesa and Margaret and the girls stayed in Victoria all great locations
Hi Lucy. Thank you for your two best hotel videos for Benidorm. It has certainly helped me trim down my choice of hotels from the vast array on offer. I am hoping to come out for a month next Jan/Feb. My question to everyone is what are people’s preferences for board. Do people prefer all inclusive, bed and breakfast, self catering etc. I see the benefits of all inclusive but it relies on value and quality and does restrict you a little as you are inclined to stay at the hotel and not spend any money in local restaurants and bars. Self catering means you have to eat out. You have a huge choice to pick from and I’m sure they are all different quality and value. Maybe a viewer poll is needed Lucy. If you have done something like this before, maybe you could point me in the direction of your video.
My personal favourite is villa del mar, mind you being upgraded to the presidential suite was a bonus lol. Having said that the staff were incredible, the views over poniente were fantastic and the room was fabulous. The car lift in the car park was fun too.
Hello Lucy, I've been informed by jet2 that a new hotel is under construction near the Don Pancho. Is this a problem with noise as we will be there in April?
