thanks alot this is really helpful. I'm literally stressed out 😥😥. Baby was born jaundice but it wasn't severe and she started twitching when we brought her home, her head was also on my tailbone so we had a C-section and I thought that could be a reason too. I hope she gets better. but this video is really comforting, this was all I needed to pull through right now. Thanks alot.

It’s completely normal😊 no need to worry about that.. my son had the same thing when he was 2 -5 months . Now he’s 7 months Alhamdulillah it’s goes away 😎

My son has it and he just turned 3.. The EGG came back normal and he doesn’t talk so much and it is said can affect speech.. I hope speech therapy and this fish oil you talk about helps my baby. Thank you so much for telling your story and hope there will be a update!

My baby is a week old, she’s doing the same thing. The doctor said he isn’t sure, he hasn’t seen this in newborns and could be a “delayed or prolonged reaction” but he’d consult other doctors and we come back in a few days. Is there somewhere I could send you a video to get your opinion?

Thank you so much for sharing this with us.❤ Am from India, mom of a girl baby,she is my 1st baby,having exactly this same condition(twitches only during sleeping but not all the time when she sleep) doctors here prescribed her seizures and epilepsy medications.its been 22 days she born and am giving here the medicines from day one. I don't know whether I can give her those medicines or not. If you know anything regarding medications please let me know. And does twitches came again for your baby after 7 weeks ,please give a recent update .

we didnt do any meds personally but it was because his seizures were benign. They did an EEG and confirmed they were not affecting his brain activity. They completely stopped after 7 weeks and havent returned as he grew out of them.

As long as the EEG is clean, please don't mess your baby's brain with epilepsy meds.....they maybe just disorders

Hi, my daughter is 4months old its started when she was 3 months old only her 1 leg does it when shes sleeping but sometimes only it happened the shaking, one thing is even shes awake its shaking.what should i do.please do reply im so worried

My daughter had that condition too, everytime I saw her twitching I stressout, I got headache ‘cause I cant sleep and overthinking.. I had consultation by phone with Pediatrician, I send video of my daughter when her sleep and start twitching. The doctor say It is “Benign Neonatal Sleep Myoclonus” and dont have to worry about that. OMG finally, I feel relieved. But now I though her twitching not only start when her get deep sleep, ‘cause when I nursing her, the leg and limb start twitching. Its make me stressout again. 😭😭

@@PriyaR-gu3oh After 8 weeks the twitching is getting less and less and less, now she is 4mo and the twitching is completely gone 🥰🤲🏻 Alhamdulillah.. God Bless..

I am from India...my baby is having the same issue from day 14,we have consulted the pediatrician,he suggested some tests including EEG but unfortunately the EEG report suggests this as seizure..but watching your video I can say my child is having the same problem cause my baby also had these twitches in the car and during sleep only but don't know how the EEG report came positive for seizure,since we are in this country I can't even believe in the doctors..

if they found irregular brain activity during the episode, it would be confirmed as a seizure. Sorry you're struggling with this!

@@ayeshazaveri3762 my baby is fine...it was the same thing that was shown in the video...benign neonatal sleep myclonus,it all disappeared almost around 3 months age of my baby, her doctor prescribed seizure medicines,even the EEG report was wrong but I refused to give her medicines and waited with all hope and positivity...hope it will help you
