Just saw an interview with Eliot Easton and he mentioned how Ben would quietly drive around after snowstorms plowing out friends driveways. Good Lord what a shining example for the rest of us to follow- thank you Ben

I remarked to my best friend the other day that Benjamin was one of those rare truly physically beautiful people who are totally unimpressed & perhaps embarrassed by the attention that gets them. So great that he was an equally beautiful person inside. So sad he passed so young.

Great video just read the article attached no doubt Benjamin was drop dead gorgeous, mere words can’t describe, but somehow the inside beauty of a person brings out the outside beauty. I love the fact he stayed so true to his roots even after attaining so much fame. The company I worked for many years was based in Cleveland headquartered at Terminal Tower. I saw a photo of Ben holding his son in Cleveland he had a CPD patch on is jacket that is good enough for me.

@@scottrobbins6216 Oh yes, he loved Cleveland! There are several photos of him sporting hometown logos. And of course, he was always up for participating in Cleveland projects, like the song for the Browns and for the C.A.R.E record with Michael Stanley.

At the end when the game is over the announcer says that the legends have beaten the Rochester police. Don't know which Rochester obviously. Apparently there are 19 Rochester's in the US

Sad to see him so overweight, but this was only 4 yrs before his death, & I don't know how long pancreatic cancer exists before the diagnosis.

Well, even aside from the cancer, I don't think he was taking care of himself very well. I think he had a hard stretch of years there in the 90s. :(

It must be difficult at times to have a stretch of yrs in which you're playing in front of tens of thousands & more, then it falls apart & the fame is gone. I don't know how strong his personal network was. He seemed to not stay with one woman for long. Long-term family would have helped. Smoking probably did him no good. It's so sad.

It can exist a long time. I've heard it can even initially cause weight gain due to blood sugar levels and water retention, so while I'm sure he could have been taking care of himself better, some of it may even have been caused by initial stages of the disease.
