A left of field idea on the date in Indy - but I found an article written about a man who visited Walt Disney World over 500 times in 7 years before his passing. He was presented with a special plaque and a silver pass by Bob Matheison in commemoration of his 500th visit. After his passing his Disney photo albums with over 2000 photos were donated to The Walt Disney Archives. His first visit was December 13 1971, he always wore a brown hat and his name…Mr Jones. I hope it’s a nod to him ☺️
I didn't know you could spin the vehicle around in Astro Blasters, so when the vehicle was turning the opposite way I was thinking what's going on. It turns out my 4 year old was spinning it the entire time 😂
Happy birthday Ben!!: I’ve been watching this channel since 4k subs! I love this channel so much! You guys are so amazing.❤❤❤ also love how he stopped to say hi to a fan
“can I ride with James?” Just melted my heart! It is so sweet to see him excited about getting to ride with his brother in some of the rides now that he is finally seven! Happy Birthday Benjamin! 🎉
Happy birthday Benjamin, wishing u a magical + spectacular day ❤❤❤💋💋xxx Benjamin + James r such sweethearts xx ❤❤, glad James got a new slinky headpiece
Happy Birthday Benjamin! You guys are such a wholesome family! My kids love to see the boys’ excitement when we watch! Know that you bring joy to many other children around the world who watch your guys videos Benjamin! Keep it up! Enjoy your birthday! Blessings!
Happy birthday Benjamin!!! 💝🎁🙏🏻 I loved your special day! Awesome choices, can’t wait for the breakfast video to be out. They are so big…riding Haunted Mansion together, single rider…🥲 Thanks for the video 😊
I know! It felt like such a milestone. Watching the cast member ask him how old he was when boarding with his brother and then seeing him proudly say “Seven!”
I watched again because I had it on last night in the background while I was doing something else. I had to laugh about the boys *almost* being able to eat their own full meal. Give it a few years and you’ll need one for each plus another one for them to share. I have a 16 year old and it’s hard to keep him full😀
Amy thought two full meals for them was overkill, but we hadn’t eaten lunch so I thought they’d be able to handle it. I guess not. 😅 But I know they’ll grow into eating us out of house and home.
Yay for Benji's day.🎉 He looked like he was having a magical day. And he did pretty good picking the rides. And the luck your family had with Rise. And a pivet here and there. Happy you chose the Plaza Inn. They have a lot characters.
He might not have directed it, but George Lucas is the creator of Indiana Jones. He just didn’t enjoy directing. But Indiana Jones is, or was, property of LucasFilm.
From what I gathered in google 121371 is the line when Dr. Jones wipes his forehead, swings his coiled whip, and says: * "Not bad, for tourists!", * "There! That wasn't so bad, was it?", * "Next time, you're on your own.", * "Next time, you wear blindfolds, okay?", * "Don't tell me that wasn't big fun!" or * "Tourists, why'd it have to be tourists?" I’m guessing this is what his line number was in his script when recording that scene for the ride. AI is what suggested that in google. I typed in: “what does 121371 mean on Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye” Also, Happy Birthday Benjamin!!!
Happy birthday Benjamin! The only thing i could find in December of 1971 was that Lucasfilm was established, but that was on the 10th from what I read.
I haven’t purchased it again lately. But I’ll make a video when I do. But I can’t promise it will be super soon-ish as I have a lot of different things planned already.
Happy Bday Ben :D October 1st is my nephews 7th Birthday and nowing Single Rider is Age 7 Ill tell there parents that :D and we are also going to Disneyland next week too on Friday :)
They frequently hand them out as “we’re sorry the ride closed and we had to kick you out of the line” consolation gifts. I was shocked they didn’t this time. That’s why we went to guest services. Because it’s usual Disney policy to do that anytime the ride closes for more than just a few minutes.
Traver, Bedknobs and Broomsticks was released on 12/13/71 --- and the only connection I can see between the two is... Disney.... and Nazis? LOL There's also "Eye" as in B&B takes place in the town of Pepperinge Eye. The timeframe takes place about the same time. B&B starts in August 1940. In Indiana's Jone's story line, about that same time frame, Indy was on the run from a Nazi and learned about Excalibur --- so both storylines happen during the London Blitz of WWII. I think the ride, though, is set around 1935??? I can't remember.... either way, that's the general time frame. That's really the only connection I can find so far. However, LucasFilm was founded in on December 10, 1971... three days prior. Close, but not quite?
That’s the thing that keeps coming up. But I’m still not convinced it’s relevant to Indiana Jones at all. (I just saw your edit. And that’s plausible). Unless it was a favorite movie of someone on the production team. But more likely it’s the birthday of a child of someone like Tony Baxter. I don’t even know if Tony has kids. But it’s not that far fetched of an idea. He would have been 24 on that date, which is a pretty normal age for folks to have kids.
@SoCalDisneyDad I thought that it was the founding of LucasFilm... but not quite. That was 12/10/71. That's probably that closest plausible thing, but it's off by 3 days.
Happy birthday Ben!! Quick question for single rider, if I let my little one on single rider line will they definitely let me go with him since he’s a child or is it possible he rides without me and I end up in another car??
This isn’t Indiana related but there is this: Sent by Copilot: December 13, 1971, is significant in Disney history because it marks the date of the official dedication ceremony for Walt Disney World. Although the Magic Kingdom opened its gates on October 1, 1971, it was on December 13 that Roy O. Disney, Walt Disney’s brother, formally dedicated the resort1.
@@susanhill4212 A little weird for that to be in Indiana Jones, but I’ll take it if nothing else more plausible appears. I would expect something related to Lucas or Indiana Jones specifically. It could also be the birthday of someone involved in the project. Or the birthday of the child of a project lead considering the ride opened in 1995.
