התחלתי להקשיב מתוך סקרנות, לא חשבתי שאצליח להקשיב לראיון כל כך ארוך. אבל נשאבתי פנימה וממש נהנתי להקשיב. כמצביעת מרכז שמאל מרגישה גם שלמדתי להכיר בך צדדים שלא הכרתי, וגם הצלחתי לקבל קצת תקווה בתקופה שמרגישה מאוד חשוכה,תודה!
לא מסכים על הכל, אבל לא ראיתי שום פוליטיקאי שעשה מעשה אמיץ כזה: באמת לדבר על הכל. אני מוכרח לומר שאני מרותק. דיברתי על זה גם בטוויטר שלי, אין אצלך ממש ימין או שמאל במצב הנוכחי, יש אותך ואתה מנווט לפי מה שנראה לך לנכון ולא שיקולים זרים. מעניין מאוד, תודה.

It, however, seems to me that his interviews in Hebrew are more open and to the point and I enjoy them very much. One clearly wrong point made by Bennett: denazification is NOT Zelensky elimination. Even in Bennett's own quotes of Putin it is clear ("they support nazists", i.e. that is it not like Zelensky is a nazi himself). Denazification is a criminalization of Ukrainian nazism de-facto, prosecution of nazist elements in Ukraine (like Azov, Praviy Sektor, C14, etc.). Remember, Ukraine has a law that outlaws nazi and soviet symbols... however, there was not a single criminal case against nazists (who are well presented in Ukrainian army and "volunteers"), but a lot of cases against "babushkas" for soviet symbols. Particular example: killers of Buzina (ukrainian writer) were found and proven with DNA in 2015... the court is still dragging for all these years and killers from nazist c14 group were let walking free and come from time to time to the court to laugh at Buzina's mother...
blah blah blah. it does not justify attacking the other country and killing tens of thousands civilians. also look, it has nothing to do with "supporting nazists", Putin recently was bragging about Azov sea becoming internal's lake, was bragging about gaining new territories, but was not very vocal about "denazification". which shows it very clear - he cares about conquering new territories only and eliminating Ukrainians. so Russians are true fascists and nazi here.

This is a misjudgement of German politicians and today's German politics. The point is not that German politicians are afraid to speak openly. The point is that peace in Ukraine simply does not suit their interests (except for the Left and the AfD). Today's German leadership has set out to put into practice the dream of its former leader of "conquering new living space in the East". Whatever the cost.

In this Interview you incorporate real statesmanship and how rational human beeings would behave keeping the values of humanism in their minds. Concerning your indecisive conclusion what would be the better way go along the ukraine crisis I would like to bring you to mind how much victims had to suffer and loss their life during the whole cold war, (Korea, Vietnam,... Afgahnistan,...) just to demonstrate strength and punish the other side. Which is a step back in your basical negotiation position at the beginning. But I understand that because of the developing war in the past month, you may be just have to still make one step back to keep your mediatior position a for both sides. Wir haben uns immer als Freunde der Deutschen, als Freunde Deutschlands betrachtet. Heute fällt mir das zunehmend schwer, angesichts des Pöbels, der da wieder in Berlin die Macht ergriffen hat.

I was thinking the same. I wanted to hear what happened from Bennet himself in the peace talks. But essentially Russia was not giving up anything. They just said Ukraine could have weapons and they would not kill Zelensky. Neither were achievable by Russia anyway.

Thank you, Mr. Bennett. I appreciate politicians with honesty, self-reflection, and values - and I have been rooting for your coalition ever since it was created. I am very worried about Israel but I have an important idea that I would like to propose to you. This is central to the settlement of our land. We are right to be proud of how we made the desert bloom, but we weren't good enough with our architecture, city planning, and natural landscapes. We can find beautiful places but they're not common enough. We have to have a vision for this country! What we build is nowhere near the sort of cultural revitalization that Zionism yearns for. I'm tired of the bland apartment blocks that are copy-pasted no matter where you go, of the bland commercial towers in Tel Aviv that look like any other place in the world, of the lack of focus on well-developed streets and public spaces, the little effort put into making our infrastructure enhance the beauty of our land, the ugly street lights & electrical wires that dot our landscapes, the Soviet-style new cities that are promoted by the government, and the lack of architectural oversight over new developments. Take a look at Haifa - such beautiful scenery and no care for what the actual city looks like. We should be taking advantage of this natural beauty! Take a look at our waterfronts; central Tel Aviv being a rare example of building a beautiful promenade, compared to the Dead Sea that is dotted with substandard hotels and beaches. Of course, much was built when the country was poor but it hasn't gotten much better with new developments and city projects. We do have world-class infrastructure but beauty isn't usually a priority. We should overhaul our planning system to both alleviate the housing crisis and to introduce architectural + urban design standards that range from creating pleasant places in affordable projects all the way to creating outstanding beauty when it is feasible. So far, even luxury projects look awful. As to my vision, let's build our country with local Israeli expressions and inspiration from every place our diaspora came from! Let's enable our lively people to express themselves with places that are built for life, not blandness, and let's make them places of identity and culture. Let's plant high-quality trees and aspire to make our landscapes stunning and worthy of Israel. Let's put quality, beauty, and identity as a priority when the government builds new train stations, roads, and bridges. Most importantly, I want to hear what you think. You're an experienced politician and I hope this could be put on the agenda. I'm moving soon because I belong here and I want my Israel to be even more beautiful!
Naftali Bennett is an amazing interviewee but the interviewer is like somebody with extreme ADHD unmedicated. So many times Naftali is saying really interesting things and the interviewer interrupts or change the subject, and he might change it to something else that is interesting but the interviewer is leaving loose ends everywhere. Bennett is an incredible combination of thoughtful + getting things done + good with people..
@@vamosdaniel22 Well, that may be the case to an extent eg I saw a guy interviewing BB that was a bit like that. But I've seen Chaim Ben Pesach interviewed by Dr Uri Millstein(historian and philosopher), and Uri was fine, very sane.
