Benny and Dean - It's a Miracle

This was so special. I could relate to this. We (wife and I) raised our 11 year old grandson (Bryan) since birth. He called us dad and mom. In April of this year (2019), our daughter unbeknownst to us gave her portion of conservertaship to the dad who snatched him away from us. The dad (and mom, our daughter) had been mostly absent throughout the years. We had to hire an attorney and are fighting to get get our little angel back. When the grandfather said he loved his grandson more than every thing else in the world, that is exactly what I tell my angel when I see him. We have been devastated and I’m constantly crying that I want my boy back. I am broken and trying so hard to keep myself together. I’m 62 years old and my wife is 65 years old, but she’s the strong one. Please pray for us that our angel is returned to us. Thank you and God bless you. Al, Violeta and Bryan.

You are a great father to your grandson. You have showed him to be independent. If you wouldnt have showed him to drive, he wouldnt have been able to drive you out of there. Good thinking on keeping a cell phone handy.

Seriously awesome story...kid is a hero... 8 years old and driving... brave and smart... this is every reason why kids need two parents in their lives even if one of them has a mom and grand pap even if one of them is dad and grandma because family structure teaches them so much more about everyday life play never going to get from just one parent so for those single parents that's a part of your life you're going to have to fix like getting your family involved. Awesome smart kid... omg... a little angle... everything is gonna be alright....

I had the same bond with my Grandpa as Dean had with his Grandpa

That Grandpa was very wise to teach his grandson to drive that truck, and the grandson seemed very intelligent beyond his years youngins today can learn a lot from elderly people .

This was absolutely amazing! Spending so much time with one another the grandson payed close attention to how his papau drove that truck shifting gears etc. Young children can be more observant than we know! Another great story and miraculous!

My Dad taught me to drive at 8 but I didn't do anything heroic. I want to go back and hug 8 year old Dean. That sweet face he made when he was talking about having a hard time getting Pop off the ground broke my heart. So glad Dean was there.

Love this brave boy but Love God first as He gave the boy to be with his grandpa. Dean you are an awesome young man. Didn't think twice about jumping in the driver seat and driving back out of that field. This is one excellent reason to at least teach your younger kids how to drive, you'd be surprised how many kids even older than Dean would have no idea how to even start a car, let alone drive it and in the case of the truck be able to shift gears....awesome job Dean.

Musta been gramps who wisely taught that little guy something about driving. By about that age, my little nephew drove around the pasture while mom or dad threw off the hay. He could barely see or reach the pedals, But little guys are brave.

God has his earthly angel's and he had Benny's grandson to be there for his Papaw... God use whom let him God help this little boy clam to be a help in the time of need.. Not to many adult's could had remain clam.. He is a blessing to his Papaw and his family.. It was a good thing his Papaw was teaching him how to drive as young as he was.. My ex- husband taught our son's to drive a tractor them small boy's it paid off for them. Way to go God to use this fine young man.. Awsome!!
