It's been interesting to read the background to this tour in 'The Note' magazine. It was quite an adventure for all the musicians and that's an understatement!
"All Star Band" is used a lot. Well this here is an actual All Star Band. Most people into this music will recognize every name, as a legendary player and/or leader.
I can't believe the notoriously forgetful Goodman could get through the introductions without drawing a blank and calling somebody "Pops." Really wonderful stuff. I'm enjoying all your Goodman uploads and just subscribed.
